define page - weirdest thing ever!!!

I've been programing PHP for 5years so this is just blowing my mind. :frusty:

I have created a new define page.
Here are the steps I took.

  • A new folder/file includes/modules/pages/properties/header_php.php

  • A new file in the directory includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_properties_default.php

  • A new file, includes/extra_datafiles/properties.php

  • A new language file, includes/languages/english/properties.php

Here is the problem. I wrote a test message ...oh about 4hrs ago that says "This is the property list" and the only way I can remove it is by deleting the folder I created. You can see for your-self: http://investorsclassifieds.com/storetest.php?main_page=properties

Usually I can find it by searching local the files with editplus...nope!
So I tried searching on my server with file manager...nope!
Tried searching DB...nope!
Tried...well just about everything I can think of including just putting print "test"; on all the files.

Help!!! I was supposed to be done with 6hrs ago :cry:

Re: define page - weirdest thing ever!!!

FF says the id for that text is '#checkoutShipping.centerColumn' Not sure why it's there.

Did you search for that string in Admin - Tools - Developer's Tool Kit?

Re: define page - weirdest thing ever!!!

Thanks for the reply stevesh

Yes, I did search the string in the Dev Tool kit...All/Admin and Pages

I think the shipping id was something I had just copy/pasted when first made that page.
Here is what it is now in the .../template:

<div>
<h1 id="pageTwoHeading"><?php echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></h1>

<?php if (DEFINE_PAGE_2_STATUS >= 1 and DEFINE_PAGE_2_STATUS <= 2) { ?>
<div id="pageTwoMainContent" class="content">
<?php
/**
 * load the html_define for the page_2 default
 */
  require($define_page);
?>
</div>
<?php } ?>

<div class="buttonRow back"><?php echo zen_back_link() . zen_image_button(BUTTON_IMAGE_BACK, BUTTON_BACK_ALT) . '</a>'; ?></div>
</div>

and in the .../html_includes:

<p><strong>Properties Listingd Sample Text ...</strong></p>
<p>This section of text is from the Define Pages Editor located under Tools in the Admin.</p>
<p>To remove this section of the text, delete it from the Define Pages Editor.</p>

...and thats what it reads on my server file?

I am totally stumped:frusty:
