Help with adding several links into one image

Hi all.

Im using 1.3.8a and I am wanting to have one long image in my right hand column with several links inside it pointing towards different pages of my site.

I know this is called 'Hot Spots' or Image Maps, and I have hunted around for tutorials on this forum and on google, but I cant seem to find any threads with an easy to understand method of doing it. I have already created my image with working hotspots using frontpage, and i thought it was the simple case of just uploading the image into the correct banner in zencart and publish, but that didnt work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd probably use the blank sidebox mod, and put the HTML for your image map in that. I'm not sure if there's something different about the banners that would cause a problem, but if your image map works elsewhere, it should work in the blank sidebox, assuming all your links are correct.

Can you provide clarified details on how to add hot spots to images placed in the columns or sideboxes. My image was added to the column using css. What panel option would I use to add my HTML hot spot code. Thanks for the assistance. :cool:
