Glacial Age Template Support Thread

Hi Clyde,

I have completely searched this thread and do not see my problem.

First off the site URL is

http://reliant-one.com

The problem is on the contact us page.

In FF there is code showing
In IE/8 there is not

Both browsers show the boxes misaligned.

I switched to the contemporary classic green template and everything is fine so it is a Glacial Age specific problem.

The install is 1.3.8a

as far as I know none of the addons have edited or overwritten this page

Any help would be greatly appreciated

That is interesting; because out of the box glacial age 1.0 does not modify any files that would effect the contact us page.

What happens if you go to includes/templates/glacial_age/templates/
and delete tpl_contact_us_default.php

Since Glacial Age doesn't modify this page, I'm unable to give you an answer.

However do a search for "Blank Page" on the forum and you should find several solutions for the problem.

I can reproduce the error on two different host/servers as I use one for test. Many times I can look at the code, but this server has a sh**y file browser so I have to upload edited files to the host. I don't use windows anything, I use Linux so please don't use windows directions.

look on line 271 of tpl_product_info_display.php and delete that line.

OK one problem down, now the next problem. My text for the description is not well behaved. the text over shoots and does not rap around the thumbnail. Please see the screen shot

Its a lot easier to diagnosis the problem if you could provide a URL for your site.

but as a guess - Have you uploaded the product_info.css stylesheet?

I just viewed the site in FF, IE7/8, Safari, Chrome and Opera and couldn't see the problem you described in any of these browsers.

text is controlled when you enter your product information through the zen cart admin panel.

Other than that it is styled in the stylesheet.

What line in the stylesheet.css makes the text wrap around the thumbnail? I have tried different templates and they wrap around the image. I don't know PHP but I hack at it anyway:smartalec:

If you want the text to wrap the image, delete the tpl_product_info_display.php that is packaged with the glacial age template and use the default tpl_product_info_display.php

Hey, Clyde. I got the debug tool for the pages not displaying when you click on my account, login, and logoff. I did the debug report and it says this...

fixed it....I had two english.php files and they were conflicting with each other. one was in includes/lanugages/english.pho and the other was in includes/languages/glacial age/english.php. Wooooo.....hooooo.....glad i found it. :clap: :flex:

Ugh, clyde. Do you know anything about tracking with google? Trying to install the tracking code for the website and I'm supposed to do this:

How would I control the line spacing between the title and price/description or relocate the price o the bottom? Thanks.
