Price missing from Categories/Products

Hello.
I have problem that price has missing from dmin>Catalog>Categories/Products page:(

It appears on shop front, customer can see the price and place order but can not see from Admin area, so data is stored in database correctly.
Please review attachment.

If re-install everything is only way, that's fine, I can re-install every thing.
But is there any files that I need to look in to or way to fix this before I re-install?

Could you check if the products table has master_categories_id for all products?

This is my company shopping site and we had another zen-cart shopping site own by previous webmaster.
He is no longer with us so I take over this job...:(

I import database from previous shopping site.
I checked Products_Table, there is master_categories_id for all products.
some products has "0" in master_categories_id, but no blank.

Backup your database ...

Look at your database to see how many rows are in the tables:
products
products_description
products_to_categories

These should match ...

If so, go to the Tools ... Store Manager ... and run, in order:
Update master_categories_id
Update products_price_sorter

Now see if everything is set right ...

Updating the master_categories_id will take the categories_id from the products_to_categories table and update all master_categories_id with that value ...

Updating the products_price_sorter will update the field used for sorting prices when in the Catalog so that things sort correctly without having to do any calculations on the sort ...

I checked row status for following 3 tables and found those were not matched:(

products = 562
products_description = 561
products_to_categories = 561

Since those were not matched, I have not try Update master_categories_id and Update products_price_sorter.

Sounds like you have an extra record in the products table that does not have a products_description nor a products_to_categories reference ...

While this is a bad thing, until you find it and deleted the bad record ... it should not break things ...

Meanwhile, you should be able to run those updates for the Master Categories id and the Products Price Sorter ...

Don't forget your backup ...

I tried to find extra data on Products Table from phpMyAdmin but it give me an error said "562 is not valid number(or something like that)"... so up to now, I could not find extra row.

Update master_categories_id
Update products_price_sorter

but no luck:(

Could you look in the Catalog ... Product Types ... and see if all of the Product Types are marked as Add to Cart Y ...

NOTE: exception being Document General ... this is marked as N

Could you also check what the products_type setting is for your Products in the products table and make sure that they are valid ... as in NOT 0 and match one of your Product Types in the product_types table ...

I checked Product Types.

Product-General = Y
Product=Musin = Y
Document-General = N
Document=Product = Y
Produtc-Free Shipping= Y

Also, all the products had product_type = "1"

Do you have any kind of add-ons loaded?

I am trying to think what could block the price display besides having edited the file and commenting out the code ...

Did you try using something like Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com and checking to see if your files are current and up to date?

I installed for Ver1.3.7.
But I don't remember the price was dissapear after I install these modules or before install...

The only thing I can think of is out of date files or something ...

Without physically looking at your files and database tables I feel like I am shooting in the dark at this point ...

I don't know if this is bad data or bad files ...
