Re: reset date on hit counter

You can reset the counters in Admin->Tools->Store Manager

Re: reset date on hit counter

Yes, I'm able to restart the totals but the start date isn't being reset.

Re: reset date on hit counter

Then you'll have to manually truncate ("empty") the "counter_history" table in phpMyAdmin.

Re: reset date on hit counter

I host my sites on siteground.com and I have a "C" panel so that is where "PHPadmin" is for me. Hope that helps you.

Re: reset date on hit counter

Thank you DrByte,

I emptied the counter_history field, but it still says "
Hit Counter Started: 04/25/2008" in the Zen Cart admin area. Where do I update this part?

I went to Tools > Store Manager and found the spot where you update the hit counter, but I need to update the actual date, too.

Thanks.

Re: reset date on hit counter

Did you truncate the table as I indicated above?

By "truncate" do you mean empty? If so, I deleted all the records under counter_history.
