Downloads ending early -- incomplete files received

I am sorry to bug ya'll, but I've searched and searched for the solution to my problem and can not find anything. My product downloads are ending anywhere from 12-16mb's and they should be anywhere from 26-36mb. They are zip files, and I can download the smaller files (under 1mb). I can download ALL of the files just fine from my server. I'm not comfortable saying everything worked fine previously because most of the products "purchased" were free so it's possible most of them haven't been opened yet. The ones that someone actually paid for were small zips and likely didn't have a problem.

I'm at a loss now. I've switched on and off Gzip, Redirect & streaming download. We have "unlimited" bandwidth & storage according to our host. I had a problem last week with e-mails going out and spent 76 minutes on the phone with tech support.

Can anyone help me? Please? (where's the begging smilie?)

You can try turning on streaming, and redirect off.

Then you should check whether the failures are on dialup or not and whether the failures are happening at the 30-second point, indicating that this is a PHP timeout problem ...

Did you ever find the answer to this? I am having the same problem and am pulling my hair out trying to find the answer. I am sure it must be simple but I am cluless. I am also a PHPdumdum
