Customers not receiving emails

Im having a problem with all customers not receiving email. This problem appears to have begun recently after upgrading to 1.3.8.

When a customer creates an order they get no confirmation email. I do however receive the admins copy of the confirmation email. I am then having to forward this email on to the customer.

Also "contact us" emails arent being received by the admin.

I have tried sending and receiving email from and to all addresses involved using my outlook express client and all email addresses are fine. However when sending confirmation emails to the customer from zen-cart nothing happens.

I have been through the email setup and nothing has changed - all is as it should be.

Any thoughts?

Appears problem was solved by switching email to smtp auth

I just fixed it. If you are using SMTPAUTH you need to make sure that all of the SMTP settings at the buttom are set right. For me it was the password and the server port number that was wrong. I hope this helps everyone.
