Changing the a: link font color in the catagories?

I want to change the font colors in the catogories but no place else in the store. But every time I change it , it changes every link in the store? any ideas?

Add this to your stylesheet:

#categoriesContent a:link {
	color: #ff0000;
	text-decoration: none;
	}

#categoriesContent a:hover {
	color: #000000;
	text-decoration: none;
	}

Change the lines in red to whatever color you need. If you don't want a different color for hover, leave out the second section. The colors as is are red for the link and black for the hover.

Thank you so much but I also for got to add that I also needed the other links that are on the left side to be the same as the catagories but not the same as the site.
