electronic vs. printed invoices & packing slips

Can customers see online versions of their invoices and packing slips?

I've read this tutorial re customized logos on above documents:

If customers can not see an electronic version, then this tutorial will be all I need.

However, if customers can see an electronic version, then here's my question:

How do I code for two different logos? One is for print, the other is for electronic viewing.

Rationale: a full color logo takes up entirely too much ink. I'd like to create a printable version, but don't know how to code the file for this so that the electronic version is called for online viewing, and the 'for print' version is called for printing.

Try finding all instances of HEADER_LOGO mostly for the admin side and add a HEADER_LOGO2 in the appropriate places...

Then call one for online and the other for printing

So to add a HEADER_LOGO2, I assume all I'd have to do is copy/paste what's there for HEADER_LOGO and modify it appropriately.

But...how do I call for one or the other? I'll go poke around in the files and see how it's being called for currently. It may be a simple matter of copy/paste/modify.

If I get stuck, I'll come back and post a request for additional assistance.

Use the developers tool kit to find ALL instances and then determiine which need to be cloned, which need to added to etc
