new products on index page issue

Okay, I checked the box for new products to show on the index page. The problem is it isn't showing up just the new products for the month. It's showing all the products randomly, some are quite old. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

Perhaps you missed the setting that defines the date range of a New Product?

Configuration ... Maximum Values ...

New Product Listing - Limited to ...
Limit the New Product Listing to
0= All Products
1= Current Month
7= 7 Days
14= 14 Days
30= 30 Days
60= 60 Days
90= 90 Days
120= 120 Days

Thanks for the update that setting a limit on the date range of a New Product helped control when the products display as new in the centerboxes and sideboxes and New Products Listing so that all products are not considered new forever ... :smile:
