Remove Price and Title from Centerbox

If this has been posted and answered elsewhere please forgive the duplicate, but after ages of searching I cannot find an answer that helps :blink:

I want only the product image (linked) to display in the Featured and New Products centerbox and on the Also Purchased modules on the product pages. From what I have read I need to edit also_purchased_products.php, featured_products.php, and new_products.php in includes.modules and copy them to my custom folder, but this is where I get lost LOL

Every time I edit it what I think needs to be edited out it buggers up the page, so can someone please give me exact instructions (think blonde LOL) on what I need to remove/comment out to make this happen? Please? lol

You don't want the name, price, or description displayed?

Unless I'm mis-understaning, you can turn off all the stuff you don't want in Admin - Configuration - New Listing, Featured Listing, etc., blonde or not.

stevensh's response will take that data of the relevant listing pages, but not off the listing boxes to which you refer. To do that currently requires changes to the Zen Cart module code.

So, for example, you would over-ride the includes/modules/new_products.php and in your over-ride file replace this rather long line ...

And stevesh thank you for your reply also, while not quite what I wanted (just images only in the centerbox) I still appreciate you taking the time :)

The change is almost identical for the others. You just need to tweak the constants towards the end of the line and check that I got my syntax right (which you will know if the page loads properly after you make the change - if not, post back here).

I couldn't wait LOL and paused the upload....once I figured out the small changes to be made in the other two files, this worked perfectly for what I wanted....thanx again! :D
