Search and New Items Box in Header Image

I'm creating a new site, http://shopsocksappeal.com/ZenCart/index.php?main_page=

I'm probably doing this wrong, but I inserted my own header and its length is larger than the default. This is causing the Search and New Products boxes in go over the image. Is there some way to correct this by moving the boxes lower or am I going about this all wrong? :wacko:
