images

I'm having two (possibly related) issues with images. First, i have uploaded my product images to includes/templates/custom/images but when I enter this path to call images for products and then hit the "preview" button I see the rest of the product info but no image. Just the standard blank box with the 'x' in it, indicating the page cant' find the image.
Second, as soon as I add a product/image, the category page for that product goes blank.
I hate to ask for help for what should be such a straighforward process but...

I see several images folders dotted around in various directories but no images folder in "includes"

Not sure if this will help (you might already have it).

I had similar problem a couple of nights ago and was reccomended to install FCKeditor, you can just drag and drop it into you zencart folder.

This makes uploading images a doddle, the editor will locate images on your machine and drop them in the appropriate files for you. Ive not done any major image uploads yet though but so far so good.

Images folder is located in your templated folder, so if you are using the default "classic" then you would open this to find images.

Includes/templates/your template/images.

thanks everyone who replied. much trial and error and I think I've figured it out. non-product images seem to to includes/images and product images to template/images.

I'm still having the problem with the blank cart after adding product images though. I click 'add to cart' and get a blank page. However if I navigate back to the product page after doing this i see a note that indicates that product has been added to the cart. Any ideas?

The product images are in the folder called "images" in the root, or if you have a subfolder under that, for example "store/images/"
There is no folder under includes for it really.
Template folders are meant for template related functions, like the look of the store, not for products or other information images.
