Show Category box on home page only

Is there a way to have the Category box show on the Home Page but not on the products page? I can have it not show on all pages or show on all pages but can't figure out how to have it show on selected pages only.

When the variable:
$this_is_home_page

is true, you are on the Home page ...

You can utilize that to control when to show or not show the sidebox ...

Copy the two files for the sidebox components to your templates and overrides directories:
/includes/modules/sideboxes
/includes/templates/templates_default/sideboxes

into your directories:
/includes/modules/your_template_dir/sideboxes
/includes/templates/your_template_dir/sideboxes

and then look how some of the other sideboxes are managed to control showing/not showing and you can use a similar method ...
