I have done this with one of my sites, but honestly, the other two are full on Zen cart sites, and I should do the same with the other, but I absolutely LOVE the way my html site looks, so I may not make it a full on Zen site....(well, maybe when I get time) Although, now that I can get around Zen, it is much easier to add pages, make changes, etc. than it is on the html site.
Basically, I made a folder called "shop", and that is where Zen lives. I then made a link to it from my html site. The link looks like: http://yoursite.com/shop . When someone clicks the link, they go to the Zen area. One thing to remember....the Zen area should look exactly like your html site (colors, etc) So people see a seamless transition.
One thing to think of though....you need a way for surfers to get back to the html section if they want to.....

Unfortunately, if they go back to the HTML pages, they'll lose their Zen Cart sessions and possibly their cart contents.

Ah yes....that.
I meant after they complete their shopping. Some sites (mine included) have a lot of informational pages, and I like to have a way for customers to get back to them. As I said, I should just redo the whole site using Zen, but time sometimes is at a premium....

Understood. I just wanted to mention the potential problem of having someone move back and forth between Zen Cart and the rest of the site.

Is it possible to create a link on the Zencart main page to return to my website? Thanks for bringing this up.
