My store is very very slow

Hello.

I have recently installed Zen Cart on a Luinx server from hostong company streamline.net. I have to say that they are not a very good company and are not willing to provide any support once thay have made the sale but that is not what this is about.

It is very slow to load pages and I have check the query time (you will be able to see at the bottom) and it is nearly always over 4 and half the time over 6. What can i do to speed this up - I have removed the catagory counts and manafactures box, enabled GZip Compression and also made sure that my pictures we all small. Can anybody help me or is it just that my hosting company are terrible.

Switching to a better host would certainly help, but your site loads a lot faster in Firefox, with noScript and Ad Blocker Plus installed (hint).
