How do I Activate "add to cart"?

I have my website set up on Bluehost with a link to Zencart. It brings the customer to the Zencart main page and they can select my products, but that's it. How do I activate the 'add to cart', etc.? Thank you.

In admin > configuration > my store, what's the store status?
