Attributes Newbie - is this possible?

hi all...

I've actually managed to set up a zen cart, and it has worked pretty successfully for the past few months, and now my boss is getting "fancy"....his latest product he wants to add a variety of attributes to, and i'm pretty much lost....

are these even possible?

"Each one of these 5 items are [item name] or options for [item name] (he has 3 items to sell and 5 attributes for each item)

Each should have an "Add" symbol and quantity field.

Each item should have a link to a separate page for enhanced description of that item that opens in a New Tab without closing the main product page.

Each item will have Quantity discount schedule, that I will have to build for you.

Each item will have a small photo located with the item."

frankly, i was pretty impressed with myself when i figured out the quantity pricing :D, attributes are scary!

can you tell me before i go haring off on a search through the forums if any of the above are possible, and if so, maybe an idea of what i should search for or a link to some help?
