WPP Authorize & Capture ??

Thank you for your support and congrats on this forum upgrade!

My shop is currently a 1.3.8a shop and accepts payment via WPP and contains SSL. In fact, as a testament to Dr. Byte's prowess on the matter, everything is working perfectly.

My question is more of a business related nature.

Due to availability of items, I find myself having to modify orders and issue partial refunds to my customers, often enough to make it a P.I.T.A.

Using the the "final sale" option on the WPP configuration, which does authorization and fund capture simultaneously sounded like a good idea at first but is now proving to cause more problems than is worth.

I read about the Authorization & Capture process on PayPal documentation, whereby I can do an authorization of the order and then capture the funds when I know what I'm actually shipping, preferably within 3 days of the original order and up to 115% of the original order amount authorized.

So my question is, not whether the A&C method is supported by the module, clearly, there is an option on the payment module configuration screen for this, but where do I find the ZC documentation on how to later capture the funds? Or is this a function that is actually done from within the PayPal account and not from ZC?

Re: WPP Authorize & Capture ??

When set to authorize-only, you'll see your order-detail page change slightly, adding fields for doing the capture/void along with the refunds section.
You can also do the capture directly from inside your PayPal account.
