If possable please help (befuddled husband)

Hi, I am trying to get my wife's website up and running but she has asked for a few things that I can't seem to make happen as my coding knowladge is very limited.

She found some templates on templatemonster :shocking: (which I managed to steer her away from) but she likes the link bar beneath the header and the way the featured photos show with a short description and without any gaps between the left,middle & right colums.

Any help or advice on how I may be able to achieve any of this would be greatly appreciated.

To answer your questions in the order they were asked:

Configuration > Layout Settings
Categories-Tabs Menu ON/OFF

Configuration > Index Listing
Values determine the Sort order or to turn OFF

As to the "gaps between the left,middle & right columns", those are to do with the Template used. Background colour & padding determine what shows.

Also, people should not be scared of purchasing a TemplateMoster Template, as long as they know they will have to hire someone to fix the problems or recoded entirely using the PSD file which is provided as part of the Template purchase.

Thank you for your help Website Rob. I still can't get the featured products to a show short description in a box in the center of the home page like the ones in the links from my last post though.
I would post my website but unfortunatly I had to wipe 6 months of my work (and playing about) because I had mods that did not have the security token coding written in, and too much had been altered, so now I will have to start over again :censored:

My wife may have to consider asking someone to make the template for her ........ because template monster want $1100 for editing one of there own templates :shocking:

TBH I am getting to the end of my rope ....... Zen Cart has loads of good features and lots of ppl willing to help out but the interface is as confusing as hell to me, and now with this new security token coding some of the mods I wanted to use ( like the green tea admin one ) will have to be re-coded and im just a begginer at coding.

Anyhow for tonight I give up, hopefully some sleep will help me.

Thank you for that link Misty :D now all I have left to do is re-arrange the order of the display so as the description shows up to the left of the picture instead of underneath it.
