Search Result Pages not showing "Product Image" column name

Hi, there

The Bug:
When you input searching keyword inside the box up-right corner and a result page will appear. Inside this page, you will find the first column of the result table header disappear! i.e. the 'Product Image' header.

I try so many templates and find out this bug were totally ignored!

Why and how to deal with this problem?

all the best for you,
david

That's not a bug. That's by design. The column titles are sort links. How would one sort based on an "image"?

Why do you think it's a problem?

Or maybe I'm missing something?

Re: Search Result Pages not showing "Product Image" column name

thank you for your prompt reply , DrByte

i'm sorry that i don't realize that is by design! i have used several templates to test this function, sth. like apple zen, all show the same result! it looks strange to me that the first header column and the underline below it appeared to have been cut down , especially in IE7!

BUT why the first header column appears while you choose to list by categories or Manufacturers?

can you pls tell me how to get it back?

anyhow, thank you for your help?

all the best,
david
