Change add cart to a link

Hello

I have a zen cart shop an I want to change the "add to cart" button.

I dont want it to add the product to the cart but insted direct them to a certain page (the product_URL). How can I do this?

Basically i want to use zen cart to offer free downloads and ebooks ect, I dont need a cart, payment or comfirmation just a different link for each product. I thought it would be best to use the product_url field. I would also need it to come as a pop up as well. I hope that it is just changing some of the code in the view product file but i didnt want to mess around with it too much as im not an expert in php.
