paypal express not working when customer is not logged in

i have noticed that when a customer tries to use the express checkout without creating an account they dont get through.. yet if they create an account and use the paypal option the order goes through ok.. i am only using express checkout module as my other basic paypal is not enabled.. just the paypal express one, i am assuming all is configured ok if the order goes through when they have an account and go through normal shipping pages..

What exactly do you mean by "they don't get through"?
Where does it stop them?
Have you done a test of it yourself to see exactly what's happening?
What version of Zen Cart are you using?
What addons do you have installed?

I am on 1.3.8 and what i mean is i can see from the admin end that they get timed out or something i have done a test and it went through ok so not sure why its happening.
i have had a customer tell me they cannot get through with it.
the only add on i have is royal mail and layaway..

she said it brings her right back to the start again, at first i thought maybe it was a problem with her paypal or something.
But since then i saw another customer try, yet when i tried afterwards it was fine.

back to to shopping caart, i will need to ask her later what exactly happened, all i know is she emailed me to say it was frustrating having to restart and it wouldnt let her pay.. that she might try later.
