Small Product Image Size - Main Page

Where can I modify the size for the small product image in the main page? I have tried both admin/config/images and the stylesheet.

admin > configuration > images > small image width, small image height

It should work, but doesn't. I have just upgraded from 1.2.6 to 1.3.8a

I am having problems with this too. I need to force the same width but keep the images proportional. Is there a way to do this?

I'm having this same problem. I'm editing the width and height of the Small Image Width and Small Image Height in Admin > Configuration > Images but am not seeing any difference on my site.

I have the width set to 260 pixels and and the height to 0 with Calculating Image Size set to true.

I've also read Image Preparation - HOW TO but haven't found the answer there.

If you examine the Source code of that page (as your browser renders it) you'll see this, for both those images...```html

I think that is coming from one of the php files that are assembled to make up your page in Zen Cart. I can't find it using my clean copy of ZC 1.3.8.a, so I'm guessing it is coming from something you've moded. Have you added maybe a column grid mod of some sort?

rstevenson: yes, I am using the Column Layout Grid for Product Listing. Was able to adjust the dimensions with tophand's suggestion.

tophand: thank you, that seemed to do the trick. honestly, i thought i tried that at one point and didn't see any change. sometimes it's a bit tricky finding even supposedly simple things when there's so much confusion with learning something new. appreciate the help for us newbs.

I am having some image issues also. My problems are two-fold.
First, the small images in the sideboxes look odd in IE on PC. Kind of look blurry and strange. They look crisp and clear on various Macs in Safari, Opera, and Firefox. I followed the instructions in the thread: "Image Preparation - How-to" and created the small images at 130 x 130 and indicated that size in config/images.

Second, I desire to have the product listing image at 350 px wide. I indicated that number in the config, but they are staying at 130.It was working before I reduced the small images to 130 to try to "clear" them up. Is this because the product listing image is small and it won't scale up?

If you r using column grid module. u need to false the following in admin->configuration ->product info-> Image - Use Proportional Images on Products and Categories

set this to 0.

     then change the samll image width and height. Now its working good.
