I get the Error 10413 when using the attribute : One time charge on a product.

When I disable this attribute on the product paypal works perfectly.

The one time charge works on all forms of payment except paypal.

I use the one time charge in addtion to the price of the product.

Bug?

I have tried over the last 2 weeks to fix this issue concerning the one-time charge attribute and error 10413. I have toggled every admin setting I can think of. I am unfortunately stuck with using the one time charge attribute (no way around it) for this product which is 30% of my stores business.

Is there any way to fix this issue? it has nothing to do with sales tax. Has anyone had a similar issue, using the one time charge attribute and getting error 10413???

Perhaps you can post your paypal debug log files for review?

test account is in same state therfore can not override tax inclusion in test, this error pops up without sales tax as a variable.

I have many log file emails...please let me kmow if you require more info...

remember if i disable the one time charge on this product PEC works ok.

That's one of the many log files generated.
It's easier to zip up the log files from the /includes/modules/payment/paypal/logs folder than to try using the emails.

Above is the last log file from /includes/modules/payment/paypal todays date/last test transaction. Do you wish me to zip/post all log files? or PM?

Perhaps Dr. Byte you can recreate this issue creating example product by:

1. setting up document product price at $1.00
   1a. Product Priced by Attributes, product virtual, Special, Product/Download Combo Requires a Shipping Address, Product Qty Units: .01, Product Qty Min/Unit Mix: yes
2. user inputs quantity. ex. 1 = $1.00
3. set Attributes option name and Attributes option value to whatever ex. Large/Blue (dropdown)
4. Add one time charge ex. Large/Blue ex. $2.00
5. Shopping cart shows product $1.00 and one time charge $2.00 cart subtotal $3.00
6. All forms of payment accept total as $3.00 and complete transacation flawlessly. PPEC throws error 10413 and loops user back to paypal login page after order is confirmed.

Let me know if if you require any other log files/info, I really need this to work.:unsure:

Again this issue is not due to tax, or shipping. it is only when a one time charge attribute is enabled.

All forms of payment CC etc accept the one time charge attribute and work ok on this product.

When I remove the One time charge attribute from the product, paypal works ok.

I tested this again today, this time by simply adding a one time charge attribute to my regular general product type, which is basically the default product set up for ZC. It still yields an error.

I tried again since my regular product type requires an address (tax) and changed the Basis of Shipping Tax and Product Tax to store, but it still no luck. The product type I have been testing above is a virtual/combo product so tax/shipping is not a factor as far as I can tell.

To recreate this issue, just add a one time charge attribute and see if you can get through without an error.

Again only paypal yields an error with this attribute, all other payment mods work ok (CC etc) . I have detailed logs I can send you if that is any help.

I'm getting this one now too - have tried to pay with a credit card, on paypal express checkout, with only products and "perweightunit" shipping set to a single price assigned to each item. its the first time I've tried to use a credit card...

And by the way I'm not using the one time charge bit...

Hmmm... so far it only seems to happen using paypal express with a credit card.... didn't get the message when using my [personal] paypal account. something to do with using the same account as the seller perhaps? or just a paypal express glitch...?

Ok by total assyness, I seem to have alleviated the problem, but found another!
I noticed that the sub total wasn't showing in checkout, only the shipping and the total, so found in admin>modules>order total that "ot_subtotal" was not installed, hence was not showing at checkout, hence the message about the mismatched order totals :)

Hi, I'm having the same problem, just after installing a one time charge.
I used to have my extra charge in the attribute just as price +£2.50 but then when customers bought 2 of the same item, they were charged the extra bit twice which wasn't correct, then I spotted the "one time" charge and I was really chuffed that this was a feature of zen cart.
Then the errors and phone calls started and my life became very complicated.

I wrote to paypal and they say

I see you are receiving API error 10413 frequently. This is because the totals of the cart item amounts do not match order amounts. For example on one transaction we received:

amt "9.19"
itemamt "9.99"
handlingamt "2.50"

Amt should reflect itemamt + handlingamt.

You will need to look into the cart's configuration or contact the cart provider to determine why this is happening.
