images not uploading?

i cant seem to upload iumages to my products anymore. it used to work and now it doesnt. i have to upload the images to the server manually but i want to be able to use the browse upload in the product section. any ideas? my images folder is set to chmod 777.

Have you exceeded a quota ? How many images do you have in the directory?

I am having problems with the same thing. Will not let me load anymore images. How can I find out how much is quota?

Ask your host.

Your hosts may have changed their PHP configuration to disable File Uploads. If this is the case this will prevent you from uploading images except via FTP.

Look in Zen Cart admin, under Tools --> Server Version Info, and look to see what "file_uploads" says under PHP Core.

If they have turned File Uploads 'Off' then you'll need to get them to turn it on, or else move hosts.

I checked it out. File uploads is turned on with a max load of 1800M. I was able to load a lot, but have much more.

If File Uploads says 1800M then that means the total allowed for one image, wich is absolutely crazy. Who's administering that server - Donald Duck?

Hi Just wanted to reply back with information I obtained from my host service.

Each file folder only shows about 20,000 images. I can see what else has been loaded, but have to get ssh access. To get ssh access through my host service I have to send in photo id. After finding out all that I figured I would just load what I need through the admin area in catalogs instead of trying to do a mass load via ftp.
