Offer UPS Shipping for some and USPS for other items?

Hi,

I offer USPS shipping for my product line I inventory, and other items that I drop-ship, the manufacturer will only ship UPS.
Is is possible to have only the UPS option for the drop-ship items, and only the USPS for other items?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You could customize the shipping modules for something like this ... but what happens when you have a mixed cart that orders some that should be sent USPS and some that should be sent UPS? :unsure:

On a mixed cart, it will need to be a split shipment, they will be coming from 2 different locations. Not a completely clean method, but it will have to work.

At this time, there is nothing built into Zen Cart to manage multiple shipping on the same order ...

You would need to have this customized to work in this manner ...

Thanks for the info, I was thinking that was going to be the result. What I'll end up doing is putting a footnote with the UPS product informing the customer that this item ships UPS.
