Placing a seperator between categories

I wanted to know if there is a way of putting a seperator between categories or having 2 category boxes so that I can list products by category and by manufacturer.

Something like this:
Menu
Category 1
Category 2
Category 3
Category 4
Category 5

==============
Manufacturer 1
Manufacturer 2
Manufacturer 3
Manufacturer 4

Is this possible or is there another way of doing this?

Categories Dressing is built to do this, in a variety of different ways.
You can insert divider lines, or add headings above each section of categories.

You can insert divider lines, or add headings above each section of categories.

I'm guessing that this is a module that I need to install. Thanks!
