how to remove the images next to categories?

in my categories i have images infront of all my categories. either an arrow or a dash. I want to know how to remove them.

I know and ive tried searching it. i always find something but not the one that i need. Sorry if im annoying you asking but i have been looking at the back end of zen cart all night and i wasnt able to find it.

I tried what you asked and still cant find it. im trying to get rid of these images in the classic style. thanks for all your help

You seem to have installed a mod to change how your Categories side-box looks.

If that is the case, you may not find any settings in the Admin to turn on/off the image.

Hence, you may want to search in the support thread for the mod you downloaded and see if someone else has already done something similar to what you want. If not, you will need to dig through the code and see where you can turn off the image.

its no mod , its just the classic template that comes stock with these images. So im looking for a way to turn them off or remove them

That's strange.

I just downloaded the BetterCategoriesEzInfo mod and looked at the files. The images contained there and the CSS rules seem to coincide with the design of your Categories side-box.

Maybe you would like to check with the person who placed those extra files in your Classic template since the Classic template doesn't contain those image files or CSS rules by default.
