New Banner Groups

I made a new banner group called "Member" and put a banner in the group.

Now, how do I get it to show in the Admin-Layout list so that I can assign it a position?

Am I missing a step or two?

Banners Groups are added in the Configuration ... Layout Settings ... for display ...

There are 9 positions that you can add 1 or more Banner Groups to ...

If you need to use the sidebox banners, then you do need to have the sidebox active/installed in the Tools ... Layout Boxes Controller ...

So the new group can't be a separate listing on config - layout settings?

The issue I'm having are with the headers of the banners. I'd rather not have headers at all -- on any of them. How could I accomplish that?

If you don't want the banners to show in a particular position, then don't add their Banner Group name to the setting ... :smile:

How does one get rid of headings over the banners on the sidebar?

Use the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... to locate the text you are looking to change ...

Enter the text in the bottom input box and select Catalog then click SEARCH ...

This will show you the language file that you should be using in your templates and overrides to make your customizations ...
