Installation & changes, & uploads

I am editing some of the modules on a Windows box, and uploading them to a Unix one.

Instead of piecemealing the changes, I'd like to see what things look like on my side (Windows) before uploading it to the server.

Can you "test" (i.e. view) the changes you make on a windows system, and then send them up to a server? If so, how?

Yes, many people install Zencart under XAMPP on their local computers then move the installation to a remote server.

"The Book" has complete instructions, or you can search the forums for 'XAMPP'.
