Emails to Customers

Where do I change the standard emails to customers? Welcome, order thank yous, etc.

I want to change the text AND add my logo -- right now customers are getting the dreaded red x.

Re: Emails to Customers

Hi

I'm not sure about your images problem, but I know you change the create account email message through your create account success in your includes>languages>english folder.

Hope this helps,

Phil

Re: Emails to Customers

Thank you, jenzi, for the link to the tutorial. Definitely helpful.

I found the file that houses the logo that heads all emails sent. Changed it to my logo, but it still doesn't show up. See the pretty red x in the snip.

Help!

Did you upload your image to your FTP in your image folder?

Re: Emails to Customers

I'm trying to find out how I change the Create Account Welcome email to my customers to take out this:

*Congratulations! To make your next visit to our online shop a more rewarding experience, listed below are details for a Discount Coupon created just for you! 5% Discount Coupon
To use the Discount Coupon, enter the Redemption Code code during checkout: **SAVE5

I forgot how to do that.

Thank You!

Admin->Configuration->GV-Coupons ... you've got it set up to give new customers a particular coupon. Turn that off, and that part of the email will be skipped.

Re: Emails to Customers

Yes. I uploaded the new logos.

I think the function (not sure if that term is correct) isn't looking in the right place for the logo -- hence, the red x.

Even the Zencart logo didn't/doesn't show.

In the email where you're not seeing the logo properly, if you choose to View Source, what is the HTML content of the message? That will give you information such as BASE HREF and the IMG tag that renders the image. If those are pointing to the wrong place, then naturally you're not going to see the image.

If you didn't use the same original name for the image, then I'm not surprised that it's not showing. The /email/header.jpg file is the name of the image that's expected.

A clean new uncustomized install of Zen Cart will build those correctly. So, unless you've altered your email templates in the /email/ folder or made other changes to your site either directly or via addons, then it should work fine.

I love your store set up on the main page. How did you get your center content as such? I love that. Good Job!

Now did you up load your image to your template file then your image file?
