paypal error 10413 on expensive orders

Hi,

Ive been supporting my sister on a hobby basis, and I cant seem to figure out this particular error:

"Transaction refused because of an invalid argument. See additional error messages for details. The totals of the cart item amounts do not match order amounts."

The funny thing is that orders with a total below 1000 NOK (Norwegian Kr.) works fine, but when orders exceeds a total of 1000 NOK we get the paypal error 10413.

Any tips are highly appreciated

Using:
Zen-Cart 1.3.8a

Scroll down to the bottom of this page and check some of the other threads with the same error.

Yes.. indeed there are but

1. Same problem, but unanswered
2. Similar problem, but there the transaction is completed, but the order is not generated. It seems resolved

Re: paypal error 10413 on expensive orders

  1. There are 5 currencies, US D, GB P, Euro, NOK & Aus D.

  2. NOK is the default

  3. The exchange rates:

US D = 5.19999981
GB P = 0.50300002
Euro = 7.90999985
NOK = 1.00000000
Aus D = 1.24070001

In practice only NOK is used since there have never been any abroad orders.

Re: paypal error 10413 on expensive orders

I just had this same exact error in my store on a large order. I'll look around to see if I can find a solution and post here.

They eventually got the order to go when they put in a credit card instead of paypal express.

Re: paypal error 10413 on expensive orders

I'm having the exact same problem, seems like any items over $1000.00 will not work. I only have one currency which is CAD.

At this point i have been through all the threads relating to 10413 error, but unfortunately all the solutions so far won't fix our problem with expensive items.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
