Featured Products

Hi I am trying to set up featured products.

catalog/featured products/new product

and the drop down list is empty.

Am I doing something stupid?

You have to first CONFIGURE which products you want to list as "Featured" products, and this is done in:-

ADMIN>>>CATALOG>>>FEATURED PRODUCTS

When you arrive at the control screen, click the NEW PRODUCT button, and add desired products to the list of Featured Products.

These will then show up when "Featured Products" sidebox is active, and / or in the Categories Menu (depending on how you configured the latter.)

Thanks for your quick reply.
Unfortunately I have done this but the product list is empty even though I have plenty products set up.

Any ideas?

I am having this problem too. I was working on it this morning!

I have 4 products set up in Featured products but none are showing Although the box for teh featured products is there.

i am using Bare Bones Theme
