Different product info display page for each category

I need to add a link to a size chart popup to my site and I thought the best place to do that was in tpl_product_info_display.php.

Depending on what category the product is in, the size chart will be different. There is one for clothing and another for shoes. I thought the best way to accomplish this would be to modify the product info display based on the product category.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Or if anyone has another simpler method, I am open to suggestions.

I was leaving that option as a last resort because I don't want to edit over 100 product descriptions.

You can use product-type, remember each product type uses a different template.

I have set up over a dozen carts and have never used different product types. It's amazing how much I still have to learn about Zen.

Wherever you put it.

You ccould make a standalone HTML page if you wanted to, or you can use EZ-Pages (see the tutorials) to make the HTML chart inside Zen Cart's file structure. Just make the link point to wherever the chart is.
