enlarging main images

hi all,
i would like to know how to make the main images larger without using the control panel options that obviously are not working for me which is why i am asking for help.
please someone help me out with this as i am banging my head against the wall.

There are small, medium and large images ...

I am guessing that by "main image" you mean the base image or the small image throughout the site ...

If the size does not change, it could be the templates you are using ... try switching to Classic Template, do they change now?

What settings are you currently using? What sizes are the physical images on the average?

actually i am using the latest build and not any special template except for the way the latest build looks right out of the zip file.

You really need to clean up your images:
658.91 KB (674721 bytes) is a monster ... :eek:

I am not sure where you got your Zen Cart but that is not a default from the Zen Cart v1.3.8 ...

So I am really not sure how to help you with this ...

all i did is change the landing page layout of the images, and yes i do have to reduce the file size of the images. i just needed them up there to test the layout while i was working. but it is the one right out of the zip file other wise the horizontal layout and the minor css modifications.
sometimes i forget about the file size because of high speed access. i really should leave a note about that on my monitor.

actually i just increased the size through the cp/config/images/new images/ and gave it a ridicuolous size and it worked, i just wasnt seeing a difference before doing it in small values..the question is how do i put distance in between them?

That is a stylesheet issue ... and I am not the one to ask on design issues ... I just write the code to make those designs work ... :cool:
