Lose weight on checkpout pages and order email

I need to figure out how to lose the product weight on the order emails and the checkout pages. My client says he doesn't want the customer to see the weight. We're using the UPSXML module.

When I check out, I see the weight(it reads: United Parcel Service (1 pkg x 16.00 lbs total)) on these pages: /cart/index.php?main_page=checkout_shipping
and /cart/index.php?main_page=checkout_payment

As well as on the order email:

Sub-Total: $86.00
United Parcel Service (1 pkg x 16.00 lbs total) (UPS 2nd Day Air): $24.82
Total: $110.82

There is a setting on the USPS to turn that off ...

If you still want it in the Admin but not in the emails you will have to customize things differently ...

There are 2 fields on the orders table for the shipping:
shipping_method <- the "text representative" of the shipping

shipping_module_code <- the module code name

You could use these to customize the code for different output ... either by striping out some of the text or by creating other text from the shipping_module_code method used ...

Opps ... you said UPS ... there are setting to turn off also to check in the Shipping/Packaging:

Display Number of Boxes and Weight Status
Display Shipping Weight and Number of Boxes?

0= off
1= Boxes Only
2= Weight Only
3= Both Boxes and Weight
