Jam Jrox integration - can't get it to record

/includes/templates/MyCustomTemplate/checkout_success/tpl_footer.php

thing is the other footer in my template's common/ directory works fine - it's only when the integration code is added that this breaks.

Re: Jam Jrox integration - can't get it to record

Ok so the integration code doesn't even need to be in there - it's just the checkout_success/tpl_footer.php override existing that breaks it.

That's a good clue I think - thanks for all the help!

Re: Jam Jrox integration - can't get it to record

I wonder if I can put this code in my regular footer?
Will it just generate commission anytime anyone puts something in their basket even if they don't buy?

Re: Jam Jrox integration - can't get it to record

Hmm that seems to work and it only generates commission once the order has been submitted.
If that's the case, what's the reasoning behing only adding this to the checkout_success footer?

... because checkout success is just that... a successful checkout. You will want jrox to kick into action (notify a commission) ONLY when a checkout has been successful, so the integration code MUST be invoked ONLY when the checkout_success/tpl_footer.php is kicked into action.

You must try to sort out why the checkout_success folder is not allowing this to proceed. You can't have the integration code on the common tpl_footer.php

Re: Jam Jrox integration - can't get it to record

It looks like this is just not going to happen - any time I even have a checkout_success override folder with, say, a blank file in it that is named something random, the checkout success page still comes up blank.

What are the CHMOD permissions on your checkout_success directory? They should be 755 .

Re: Jam Jrox integration - can't get it to record

Found it.

For some reason the line:

<?php
require($template->get_template_dir('.php',DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'jscript') . '/jscript_linkconnector.php');
?>

requires that a copy of the file jscript_linkconnector.php resides in the checkout success/ override directory, as well as in the CustomTemplate/jscript/ folder

an errant extra / delimiter also shows up in the path when the error is displayed, but this is ignored as long as the file exists

strange

There's nothing related to any "jscript_linkconnector.php" script in the core of Zen Cart.
Which addon did you install, or customization did you make, that requires that file?

DrByte:

I was about to ask this question. I have ZC Ver 1.3.8a and JROX installed - (so fundamentally the same config as Jason) and I don't need any file in the checkout_success folder other than the customised tpl_footer.php .

So this has to be as Dr Byte suggests - you have an addon that's influencing JROX functions. I would be inclined to scrutinize this - it may have other effects on JROX performance...
