products not being displayed

hello

i have a problem which i cannot solve. Till yesterday the shopping system was working fine, but today i added some new products and these weren't being displayed.

If i add a category, it is displayed fine, but as soon i add a product, all i get is a blank white page.

How can i solve this.

I went through all FAQ, but there is nothing to solve my problem. what is strange is that my old products are being displayed, only the new ones get a blank page.

Also when i change the cart into maintence, nothing comes up, just a blank with page

In one of the faq's there are instructions to install the debug utility...

What are the log results in the log file?

I think if i re install the template files, it should work again or no

Couple of things - -

Have you edited the core english.php file?
You should have edited a copy specific to your template

This is the file and line error

/home/afgroup/public_html/medshop/includes/languages/english.php:1401

Being that it is pointing to line 1401 and this file is only approx 700 lines - - there must be a mis-edit within.

What are you using as a file editor?

I am using the PHP designer 2008

Not familiar with that IDE??

But the fact still remains that the file is now bad and erroring to a line that does not exist

i went into the file and deleted the line.

it is back working as a prodcut but now paymnet system is down
i will re install the original english php file
