Downloadable Delivery HELP Please

Hi I have taken the tutorial and followed it (I thought) step by step.

I am helping a friend out with his site.

I have these issues with the digital delivery - downloadable products.

1) The zencart admin says this:

[IMG]http://templatemobster.net/admin/images/icons/warning.gif[/IMG] NOTE: You have no shipping modules activated. Please go to Modules->Shipping to configure.

2) The cart displays this when I try to do a test purchase:

[B]Not Available At This Time[/B]
 
Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you have setup the Product to be a Virtual Product or Always Free Shipping ...

Downloads are not Virtual Products ... they know what they are based on the filename on the Attributes ...

Downloads are not Always Free Shipping ... they know what they are based on the filename on the Attributes ...

Downloads get no weight ... if they are Download or Physical, weight can be adjusted based on how this is setup so that weight is 0 ...

Downloads must have a filename defined on the Attribute, miss the filename and it things it is a regular Product that needs to ship ...

See if you have one of these issues happening ...

I found the fix that worked for me and I have no idea why.
I enabled the in store pick up and all is well and download worked like a charm:clap:

Your a Saint to help out so much I honestly felt like I was beating my head against a wall trying to figure out what I did wrong.

I am glad it is working, however, Downloads never see the checkout_shipping page so you should not need to use the Store Pickup storepickup shipping module ...

Are you sure that if the products are marked as:
Always Free Shipping NO
Product is Virtual NO

and have no weight ...
and have a filename on the attributes ...

that the download is actually being ordered and can be downloaded?

Something is setup wrong if you order the Download and still see the checkout_shipping ...

The order may go through, as Store Pickup storepick shipping module is selected, but you should not see the page at all on a download ... :unsure:
