Solution: Blank screen on installation

If you're getting a blank screen during installation after the phpBB Setup, just remove the last line (with //EOF)in /includes/configure.php.

Worked for me :happy:

The line containing //EOF has nothing to do with blank screen issues. However, simply editing the file and saving changes may be the key to your situation, perhaps largely because to do so requires ensuring that permissions are correct, and perhaps even ensures that line-endings are saved properly for your unique server configuration.
