Setting up pricing for different sizes??

I am setting up different prices for the small item and the medium item....the small is 164.99 and medium is 169.99 so in the price under the small attribute I put +5.00 and now in the shopping cart it read S then the two row is M(+5.00)...is this what it is suppose to say? i would rather have it say S(164.99), M(169.99).
