First off, thanks for this great mod. It's awesome. I installed IH4 running v.1.50 and everything went smooth. IH4 was working great. Tonight I go to add more items to my catalog and IH4 isn't finding my items I already have in my catalog/catagories. It says 'No image handler information found'. It was working fine the other day, don't know what I did. I read the install read-me twice and didn't see anything that covered this problem. I am stumped. I really don't want to re-install it if I don't have to. I did delete the empty folder that was on my server while I was FTP'ing some things. I made sure no files were in it before I deleted it. I sure hope that wasn't what screwed it up now. If you or anyone could help me with this, I would be so grateful. Thank you.
Just dropby to say, i did at fresh install of IH4 on my ZC150, and it works so well. Amazing! Great contribution indeed!
Well we don't know either if that's what "screwed up" your install since you haven't said what folder you deleted.. Now we could all spend some time lobbing guesses at you without having this information...
or
you could post the details of what you did so we can help you get to the bottom of your issue..
Oops, my bad. That would help if I would have said which folder. It was a IH folder that was empty, I assume it was just left after the install. It was working fine the other day, just yesterday was getting this message of 'No image handler information found'. I didn't install any new mods after IH4. If I click on the Image Handler link, it shows 46 products linked, and then I select my Jeans catagory and get the 'no image hander...found' message. If I uninstall and to a fresh install, will I have to redo all my product photos again?
I just re-installed my includes folder and now it's working again. I must have messed some file up while working. Thanks again for this great mod.
apparently i'm a complete moron because i dont understand step 4. rename YOUR_ADMIN folder ...whats that?!?!? gawd i feel stupid...
During the install process of Zen 1.5 you are forced to rename admin. Otherwise it won't let you log in. So, everybody's admin folder has a different name. That's why you need to change the folder name before uploading.
So, for instance when you log in to Zen Cart what URL do you use? It could be something like:
www.mydomain.com/office
or
www.mydomain.com/ehfbfvbv
The second bit of that is the name of the admin folder. So, for example 'office' or 'ehfbfvbv' . You have chosen that yourself during the installation process. So you just need to rename the YOUR_ADMIN folder in the package to that name before uploading it.
Once you have downloaded the package you'll have a folder. In that folder there is another folder called 'Installation Files' . In that folder you should have:
--bmz_cache
--images
--includes
--YOUR_ADMIN
That is the your admin directory that you need to rename.
ooooooooh i get it now. derderder. thank you so much!!! such a simple little thing can stump a smartypants ;]'
"YOUR_ADMIN" refers to the folder in the Image Handler4 fileset named "YOUR_ADMIN". You need to rename this folder to match the name of the admin folder in your Zen Cart. When you installed Zen Cart, one of the installation instructions for security was to locate the folder/directory called "admin" and name it something else so hackers wouldn't find it.
When you install an addon that has files which go into this folder, the folder in the admin will always be called "YOUR_ADMIN" and will always need to be renamed to match the name of your store's admin folder.
If my explanation is unclear to you, then I gently suggest you are too new to Zen Cart to install addons. Recommendation is that you first read through the forum's tutorials to get familiar with Zen Cart first (paying particular attention to tutorials on the Override System), and then return to customizing your store. Believe me, it will be time well spent - because as you go forward with customization you will encounter this again and again and knowing what you're doing (or learning as you go) will save you a world of hurt later on :)
The forum is FILLED with support threads about common questions faced by newbies (which we all were at one time - so you'll probably run in to some of mine), and has a TON of tutorials that take you step by step through what you want to do. Additionally, the community is bursting at the seams with friendly helpful folk who dedicate their free time to help you understand this awesome piece of software.
It is those support threads where you will need to post future questions about Zen Cart as you go forward, because this support thread is for specific issues related to Image Handler4. Your question is actually a basic Zen Cart customization question. Since you're new, it's understandable that you wouldn't understand that your question is in the wrong place, but now that you know, it should be easier for you to find the info you're looking for going forward. Knowledge is power!
Good luck and happy Zenning :)
I'm having a problem with IH4. I followed the installation instructions and everything appears in my admin and all of the features are working correctly except for one: my images aren't actually uploading. I'm not getting any error messages when I browse and upload it through the admin. Partial screen-shot below:
http://i.imgur.com/uv1Qd.png
Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting this? It's not just an admin panel error either, the image doesn't display on the site either. Easy Populate is also installed, in case that has some sort of conflict with IH4
Site's still under construction, was hoping this addon would save me some time and effort in getting the images up. This is the page for the product in question.
http://usboatgroup.com/boston-whaler...p-2599771.html
I won't get started on the fact that it doesn't appear that IH4 is managing your images.. Let's start with the fact that your images don't appear to exist. The URL for the main product image is: http://usboatgroup.com/images/NV209695_0.jpg.
So let's start with does this image file in fact exist in this location???
That would be the problem. It seems that the uploader is putting them in as shop/images/whatever.jpg and the site is looking for images/whatever.jpg
If I may, just one question:
In the installation directions, this stuck out for me:
Image Handler 4 enables you to use GD libraries or ImageMagick (if installed on your server) to generate and resize small, medium and large images on the fly on page request.
Now I don't know if either of these are loaded. If they do not exist does that mean that IH4 isn't doing anything in the way of "generate and resize... on the fly"? Also, if they do not exist, and are needed, where does one find them?
Thanks
I look forward to your replies!
ALG
BTW, So far this mod is looking exactly like what we need, and not a moment too soon either. Thank You to all that worked on it and made it happen.

I'm usually pretty good at installing mods and this one seems so simple to install. I can't get it to work though. I've tried and re-tried and re-tried following the readme to the letter.
It's a new site we're building at wholesale.silkblooms.co.uk Could you please take a look at this product for example:
http://wholesale.silkblooms.co.uk/in...products_id=86
Everything works, except for the click to enlarge function. Click to enlarge and it just goes onto a never ending loading.gif
Does anyone have any idea what's causing this?
Zen Cart V1.5
IH V4
I purchased this from a 3rd party, but I'll contact them. I don't hold out much hope for support from them but I do like the look of the template so if they can't help then I'll put it out to freelance. Now that I know exactly what's required, I'll at least be able to put it to tender in a concise and well informed manner. Thank you for your help. Hopefully a freelancer will be able to modify the Lightbox to work correctly.
I've also noticed that the Image Settings seem to have no effect on the dimensions of the small images, so this will be an add-on to the freelance project :)
The only way this would be the case is if the template has removed or modified Zen Cart's built in image features which IH4 needs to work properly.. I would suggest that versus having your freelancer "fix" this template that you have them simply recreate this template the correct way sans all of the slash and burn coding techniques that Template Monstrosity templates all seem to employ in all of it's templates..
Sorry, but I think I did not communicate correctly. (Happens when I stay up past my bed time.)
What I am actually asking is are either of these REQUIRED to make IH4 fully functional?
Thank you. I just verified with the host that GD Libraries are available. Installation on the main site will commence after I've refilled my "water" glass. 8=)
I followed the naming convention for uploading multiple images (abcd.jpg, abcd_01.jpg, abcd_03.jpg). It worked for the most part except that it is showing the main image as a thumbnail AND displaying other images as thumbanails as well. I'm confused why. Here is a screen.

Thanks
I solved it, nevermind. I had to delete the old image that was being used.
Hi
just installed this plugin and it works fine. Only one problem is it disabled the "Status" button on ads. Have i missed something is it a bug or is that normal?
What I mean is in admin where the products are listed. The status on/off (green/red) button. It is image handler that causes the problem because when I uninstall it it works fine
Hi.
I have installed IH4 to my zen cart shop, server has imagemagic installed.
I followed the instruction manual to the letter, but when every file is in place and I try to enter the admin area I get this error:
WARNING: An Error occurred, please refresh the page and try again.
Refreshing page does not help, and I am unable to enter my admin area.
Removing the files in admin/includes/languages/english/extra_definitions grants me access to my admin area again, but with the
following installation error:
Missing or unreadable file:/home/3/f/fpvshop/www/shop/hemmelig/includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/bmz_image_handler.php
Missing or unreadable file:/home/3/f/fpvshop/www/shop/hemmelig/includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/bmz_language_admin.php
Some Image Handler files do not exist. Perhaps you have uploaded them incorrectly? Or the permissions are set incorrectly?
********** Installation has been aborted. **********
I am running a custom template (shouldnt matter) and norwegian language. (I made a copy of the english folder in admin and renamed it norwegian).
Any tips? thanks
getting this error out from debug in cache folder:

Great.. i love IH.. but can't get it to install.. admin keeps saying: Missing or unreadable file:/var/www/vhosts/cameleonpaint.com/httpdocs/shop/bmz_cache/.htaccess
and where ever i look, cant find that htaccess..
is that my bad? im on a mac?
We just installed last night on a upgrade to 1.5.0. On install, following the instructions, we saw a series of pink/red alerts in the message stack about files that were *not* overwritten or files that were *not* created. i.e. "File YOURADMIN/includes/modules/category_product_listing.php was NOT overwritten."
Since we didn't see (maybe I missed it?) any comment in the installation instructions that this was normal, we adjusted permissions on the files/directories relevant to the error, and loaded again, only to receive the same error.
Everything appears to be working, and we have changed the permissions on the files and directories in question back, but I am curious as to whether those error statements are expected, and whether they are documented.
Thank you for this module. I have installed it and everyting works, but I'm missing the descriptions in the "admin-configuration-images", all the options are showing but no titles or description of the alternatives. Does somebody have a suggestion how to fix this?
I'm using Norwegian language, but as far as I can see all the files are located correctly.
Is there a way to get the hover feature to work on the product listing page?
Wanna play hints?
Don't forget to copy the English language files to you Norwegian folder (or you may want to translate them :P ) before the installation. As far as I remember it can't be fixed by copying the language files after you installed IH4. As Dana suggested, re-install...
Yes, I edited init_image_handler.php as mentioned in an earlier post and that fixed the installation.
Good evening folks.
I have one that is driving me crazy.
FYI - I've read the complete install instructions (again).
FYI - I've read this complete support thread (also again) and have not found this one. So here goes:
Our image files are mass uploaded into the following folder structure:
images/inventory/product-sub-directory/productname.jpg
(e.g.
images/inventory/mtj0178/mtj0178.jpg (product 178 primary image)
images/inventory/mtj0178/mtj0178_1.jpg (product 178 second image)
images/inventory/mtj0178/mtj0178_2.jpg (product 178 third image)
images/inventory/mtj0180/mtj0180.jpg (product 180 primary image)
images/inventory/mtj0180/mtj0180_1.jpg (product 180 second image)
etc.)
All products that were in place before the installation of IH4 work wonderfully. IH4 found all of them, created the necessary images (in bmz_cache), and properly passes them to the viewer when needed.
Unfortunately when we upload a new set of images to the site, then edit the new products, the images will not show up.
The image listed in the edit field is correct, and if I go to that directory (using FileZilla) the image is indeed there and accessible.
I've verified that all directories under bmz_cache and images have permissions of 755. (I even tried 777, with no luck.)
Since we have too many images to do one at a time, we use FileZilla to upload to the site directly, then point the image to them (as above.)
Using IH4 to upload the images, they are placed in:
images/inventory/mtj0178.jpg
images/inventory/mtj0178_1.jpg
images/inventory/mtj0180.jpg
images/inventory/mtj0180_1.jpg
etc.
and not in the directories that we wish to have them in.
Does anyone see what I'm not seeing here as to why the images will not show up?
Thank you for your time and wizdom.
ALG
P.S.
I have noticed that in all instructions there are only two directories deep:
/images/doodads/silver_doodat1.jpg
/images/widgets/red_widget.jpg
and so on.
Are we limited to only 2 levels deep in the directory structure?
ALG
Have I posted this in the wrong place? I've never seen two full days go by without any comment. A first, for sure.
Thanks for the info. I did not know that.
It has been working great, including with IH4 added, until we tried to upload additional products.
This is going to get real messy with as many products and the multiple images for same. All in the same directory is not going to be good, as I see it now.
Can I put my vote in for extending the number of directories (in Zen and IH4)?
Speaking for myself, my real life comes before this forum, and I've got a lot going on.. Perhaps others are in the same boat??
From page one of this thread:
You are correct.. Image Handler has always worked with Zen Carts default image management. So if Zen only supports one sub directory level, then that's what Image Handler supports too.
Speaking for Image Handler, this add-on historically has always worked WITH default Zen Cart image management as an enhancement to the default functionality.. There's no intent to change that philosophy. Image Handler will continue to work this same way. So if/when Zen Cart changes, so too will Image Handler..
That said you may want to consider checking into hiring a developer to add this functionality if your business really needs it..
Checking permissions and reuploading.... Always the trick!
Disregard wrong thread....
I did a quick search and found nothing in this thread - getting possible reports that IMH4 is causing the product status buttons to no longer work. Has anyone noticed this? I don't have enough 1.5 examples to look at.
I recall reading about this earlier in the thread. Apparently it is a known issue, though I am not seeing it on the site we have upgraded to zc1.5/IH4. As I recall, it is being worked on, and should be fixed in the next release. In the mean time, you should be able to edit this from within the product details page in the admin.
I found something about banner ads but nothing about the product status buttons. Uh, there's no way to deactivate a product besides taking it out of stock and 4 other choice changes I believe.
[QUOTE=DivaVocals;1126895]
Speaking for myself, my real life comes before this forum, and I've got a lot going on.. Perhaps others are in the same boat??
No slight intended.
This forum has been helpful and EXTREMELY active (just look at the times and dates of entries since inception of IH4.) With absolutely no entries for several days, one begins to wonder. I thought perhaps there was a move that I did not read about, or something along those lines. It has happened in the past on other sites, areas and products.
All items from the thread were read and understood several times. I appreciate all assistance given. As soon as I get a better grip on this "new-to-me process/world" I too will provide to others what I know when they ask. Until then I'm in need of those that know better than I. So far it has turned out a most enjoyable experience.
As far as my question goes (see earlier entry):
The fact that the directory structure worked with multiple levels before I added IH4 is in direct contradiction to the 2 level rule (as I have been told) that Zen rules dictate. I hope you can see why someone without this knowledge would be confused.
I'm now a little wiser and moving on with the fix (moving a few thousand pictures to a common directory instead of their individual "group" directories.)
Please accept my apology for inadvertantly and unknowingly tipping the canoe.
This has indeed been brought to Diva's attention and it will be corrected in the next release. In the meantime, another community member posted the fix in this thread. Thanks bn17311!
Good luck and happy Zenning :)
Hi all!
Does anybody know how to set up quality for images that are displayed on category pages? I know we can choose quality for small/medium/large images but there is no such feature for these images since they are different sizes than the others. Is it hard-coded somewhere?
I am sorry if my question has been discussed already, I just could not find it anywhere.
Thank you!
I am sorry, I probably was not very clear, I mean product images on category pages. There are managed by IH and come from the cache directory, for example, one of the images path is - bmz_cache/d/d44f90eb3370521ffff3ce8ce51d9884.image.260x390.jpg. It is just their quality is awful comparing to the same image on the product info page. Thank you!
The quality for those images is set in the VERY SAME PLACE that the image quality is set for the small images.. Image quality is also very much dependent on the quality of the original images to begin with.. Unfortunately none of us can give you anymore information that this without knowing what your image settings are and seeing a link to your site.. Otherwise we are all just guessing..
Ok - this is odd - I loaded pictures fpr 2 products using IH4 last night. You can go into the admin section and look at the 4 pictures I loaded for each product. However when you go to the site - one product has the multiple images and one product does not? Odd.....esp. since you can see them all in the admin section (IH4).
Any ideas?
God willing and the creek don't rise..
I have the updates done, and just need to make some changes to the readme. I've been slammed with work and home stuff so I admit I haven't looked at this in a bit.. But the two MAIN changes have been posted in this support thread so in the meantime you can use these threads to make these changes yourself.
Fix problem with product status icon in admin:
http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.p...04#post1117504
If you are installing in a language other than English:
http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.p...11#post1117911
The IH4 update will include the following changes:
- Fix problem with product status icon in admin
- Accommodate shopowners who are installing in a language other than English
- Change the naming convention of the auto generated backup files to NOT use the BAK file extension.
(thanks to Ajeh for being the 1st to bring this to my attention and for providing the information I needed as to why this is an issue for some server configurations)
1) a Link is a big help, one to the page where you believe the images are showing correctly, and one where they are not showing correctly
2)
No it isn't odd at all, it will commonly do this if there is a file type mismatch.
By Default in Zencart, additional images must be exactly the same type and file extension(case sensitive) as the default image for that product, what this means is
if you original image is bob.jpg, your additional image must start with bob and end with the .jpg extension
for instance
bob.jpg - product images
bob_1.jpg -will work as additional
bob_2.JPG - Will not work as additional (as extension is not jpg it is case sensitive)
bob_3.gif - Will not work as additional (as extension is not jpg)
Imagehandler will show in admin all images that match a specific files image name.
And will highlight their extension in RED if their extension doesn't match the default product image for that product
Uploading images via image handler additional images box.
You say you uploaded the images using image handler
lets say the default product image was bill.gif
and you uploaded jim.GIF via image handlers additional images functionality as an additional image
Image handler will rename this file to
bill1.gif
so the extension matches the default for that product and the image name matches
However if you upload and image called
dave.jpg
Image handler will rename it bill2.jpg (notice it doesn't change the extension because it is a completely different filetype)
This image will appear in IH admin, but will not appear on the site, because it isn't a gif like the initial image
Using Image Handler 4 and everything works fine. Except if I change the Featured Product width to any other size other than 100px the "IH small images zoom on hover" stops the working. The hover works fine if I leave the width set to the default value of 100. But, if I change it to any other value the hover stops working.
Anyone's help will be appreciated.
ok - I think I cleared up my issue from before - thanks everyone! I have a question that I think will help unravel my issues and understand the relationship between IH4 and FTP (filezilla)
Ok - so I FTP my pics using filezilla to the new directory I created.... /images/Products/Isbar
Then when using IH4 -
I choose the /Products directory........
I choose my default image as blueisbarroo.jpg from my computer hard drive.......
I do not put anything in for my medium image file and large image file.......
This gives me my image in my product category ....... and then when customers click on the product they get the (medium) image... then when they mouse over they get the (larger) image.
Where I am getting hung up is .... if my image is on the FTP - then why am I selecting from my hard drive the image? I assume since IH is doing the resizing as it goes to the site - there is no reason to have _med _lrg files on my ftp or hard drive?
When I go to my ftp files - I only see my original blueisbarroo and nothing else.
Then I wanted more files to show in the product description - so I add them as the default image and IH shows me all 3 sizes... Once again I do not put anything in as the medium image file and large image file.......
I know these may seem like simple and detailed questions.... keep in mind I am an accountant by trade and sometimes I read too deep into things.
http://www.jordan-farm.com/index.php...products_id=41
I getting hung up on the relationship between IH 4 and FTP I believe.
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND AND REMEMBER OUR FALLEN MEN AND WOMEN!
Richard
Hi Richard,
FTP is a program that allows you to:
1) Look at files on your hard drive and your server at the same time (hard drive files on the left, server files on the right)
2) Transfer files between the hard drive and the server...i.e. upload and download (upload=copy files from hard drive and paste them to the server, download=copy files from the server and paste them to your hard drive)
3) Change file permissions for the files on your server
4) Edit files (This is NOT recommended as it adds a bunch of white space between lines of code - best to use an editing program like Notepad++)
5) Delete files from either the server or your hard drive (although I find it best to do this directly from the hard drive or the server)
6) Rename files on either your hard drive or your server (although I find it best to do this directly from the hard drive or the server)
In short, FTP is merely a TOOL or an INTERFACE between your hard drive and your server. It does not store files like your hard drive and server do.
So to answer your question, there is no real relationship between IH and FTP. FTP merely allows you the opportunity to upload image files to your server, which IH will then manage for you. While this is an option, it is absolutely unnecessary to use FTP to upload your product image files unless you WANT to, because IH has a built in image file uploader. You can upload your primary product image, as well as your additional product images through the IH interface (as you have done). IH will manage those images whether you upload via FTP or via the IH interface.
Having said that...it is MUCH easier to upload image files through the IH interface, because IH will take care of making sure they are all properly named and filed so long as you use it correctly. IH cuts out the ftp middle man, the file naming middle man, the large and medium suffix middle man and pretty much all middle men. IH does ALL the work for you! It's awesome!
Hope that helps :)
Excellent post.. let me add this.. To answer the original question "if my image is on the FTP - then why am I selecting from my hard drive the image?" You don't have to do this at all unless you use FTP to upload your main product images to the server. Then you DO still have to link your product images to your products. Otherwise Zen Cart won't know where the images are to display them with the product.
and not to be the detail police, but if you need assistance in how to link your uploaded images to your products this whole topic is really more of a "how to use Zen Cart" question than a how to use IH4 question. So I will say this and ask that if you need further assistance with how to link/upload images in Zen Cart you really do need to create a new forum post/topic to continue that line of discussion: If you are using the Zen Cart interface to create products, it's best that when you create your product you add/upload your main product image at the time you create the product. THEN if you want to use FTP to upload your additional image you can, and so long as they are named following the proper naming conventions for additional product images Zen Cart and IH4 will find and display these additional images.
OR you can do as Script Junkie suggests, use the IH4 admin to upload ALL of your products additional images and you do not have to worry about file naming or FTPing or anything..
I am having trouble finding support for this, I am coming up with error "PHP Warning: strstr() [<a href='function.strstr'>function.strstr</a>]: Empty delimiter in /home7/woodvil1/public_html/includes/classes/bmz_image_handler.class.php on line 129

I ready in a different thread this could be a result of the php handler used, can you provide me any insight? my url is www woodvilleusa com
zencart 1.5 in Bluhost installed via the 1 click install
EP4.0
I just installed the upgrade and it works great exept that when you click on the product, in the main product description the main picture it dosen't show the main product image when I check the property it gives me "http://mazdaproject <dot> com//images/lightbox/lightbox-ico-loading.gif"
images/lightbox/lightbox-ico-loading.gif
I had a problem with EP4.0 it has double "//" insted of a single "/" if that helps.
Dunno what the heck EP 4.0 is, and you don't say that you've installed IH4 (which leads me to believe you have NOT). This is the support thread for Image Handler 4. Your question sounds like somethign unrelated to IH4.
Unless your question is related to issues you are having with IH4, you need to create a new thread and re-post your question.. BTW, the "double slash" sounds like an incorrectly configured configure.php file. Probably as a result of using one of those crappy 1 click installers versus installing Zen Cart yourself.
Sorry for the confussion.
the only reason I brought up the EP4.0 (easy populate 4.0) is because I had an issue with it and it was doe to the double "//" which I was told was because when I originally installed Zencart I used the 1 click install from BlueHost and it adds some weir script.
my problem..
I have installed IH4 and everything works fine but the only thing that does not work is the main image.. when you are inside the product description. the additional images work fine but if you click on the main image I get a black image box. when I checked the image properties it shows "images/lightbox/lightbox-ico-loading.gif"

the only plugins is Easy Populate 4.0 and Image Handler 4
Thank you for the help.
I feel a bit silly, but I feel this post may be helpful for others with the same problem. I went to admin>configuration>images and did not have Product Info - Image Large Suffix defined, and that seemed to be causing this error. Thank you very much for your time.
Image Handler4 was working, but for some reason, the Image Handler Admin stopped working. English is the only language.
I click on Image Handler4 in the admin Tools. image_handler.php opens and it says
Image Handler4
No Image Handler information found.
I then click on Image Handler and the first category and first item are displayed.
If I select another category or product in the first category, I am taken back to the beginning.
All previous installed images that were done by image handler are displaying correctly in the catalogue side.
If I click on Admin Tolls, the same page loads.
The Preview and About/Help work as they did previously.
I need a pointer to give me a place to start problem solving this.
Thanks.
Thanks Diva.
Was hoping to find the cause because it happened on the test site and the online shop, but will reinstall IH4.
Honestly this has been a periodic issue with IH going way back to v2.. IH on occasion "uninstalls" itself.. I've had it happen on occasion too.. Dunno why.. However, since it happens so infrequently and the "fix" is a relatively innocuous and harmless one (re-run the install), no one has ever investigated why this is..
Honestly this is a tough one to troubleshoot because I don't think anyone knows how to replicate it.. Speaking from my own experience I couldn't tell you how exactly it happened or if another mod I installed MIGHT have "knocked out" IH..
Hi Diva
Thanks again for replying. I did the reinstall in the test shop and it worked.
I then compared the two databases and found that the configuration_key IH_VERSION was missing from configuration.
I ran
INSERT INTO `configuration` (`configuration_id`, `configuration_title`, `configuration_key`, `configuration_value`, `configuration_description`, `configuration_group_id`, `sort_order`, `last_modified`, `date_added`, `use_function`, `set_function`) VALUES
(1455, 'IH version', 'IH_VERSION', '4.0', 'IH Version is stored but not shown on configuration menus', 0, 10000, '2012-06-01 12:04:15', '2012-06-01 12:04:15', NULL, NULL);
in the shop database, and Image Handler is now working.
I did ensure that 1455 was the next available configuration_id
Thanks once again for your time.
Hello,
Is there any way to set the zoom dimensions (for the hover on small image) different than the medium and large images dimensions?
Thanks!
Probably the class : bmz_image_handler.class.php
And the javascript : jscript_imagehover.js
Would be good places to start. However, you will need to be aware that the image needs to exist before the javascript calls it -- so using a different size of the zoom may turn out to be quite problematic.
I have installed Image Handler 4 with no problems from my end. However since installing I have had emails from my webhost like this: "The following files/folders and some of their sub directories can be overwritten by other users (permissions set to 777), this is considered unsafe and as others could change these files we recommend setting the permissions to 755 using the file manager in cPanel or an FTP program.
public_html/store/bmz_cache/b/ba81d6ef157adcd5a5973c5672beef91.image.99x100.jpg
public_html/store/bmz_cache/b/bba473373a7c31fe75bc4e9ff0134d74.image.100x100.jpg......."
All the folders are set to 755. However the actual images were set to 666 and I have since changed them to 644. The lastest email is due to a new set of products I added. So I have set them from 666 to 644 too.
Do I have to do this everytime I add a new product?
