Re: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5 is ALMOST ready to release!!!
Have to agree with DivaVocals - I installed SuperOrders 4 into a new zencart 1.5 install, no need to worry about templates, just rename your admin directories, works great :-)

Re: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5 is ALMOST ready to release!!!
I am new to the support thread forum as far as posting any problems. SO I will try to clarify my situation. I have a new install of zen cart 1.50 and have made a few add-ons (easy populate, recover cart sales, email manager). They all seemed to work correctly after I installed them. I have used the older version of Super Orders on my older version of Zen Cart (1.39h). I did a new install of Zen Cart 1.50 on a different host. I renamed the ADMIN folders to my current ADMIN folder names and uploaded the files. I did not receive any message about a successful install though. I did find this error after you mentioning the log files:
[29-Jun-2012 11:40:32] PHP Warning: require(includes/init_includes/init_so_config.php) [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/pitst0p/public_html/includes/autoload_func.php on line 48
[29-Jun-2012 11:40:32] PHP Fatal error: require() [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: Failed opening required 'includes/init_includes/init_so_config.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/pitst0p/public_html/includes/autoload_func.php on line 48
When I attempted to open my browser to go to my login screen on my host, i got an error saying it wasn't found and the site may be down for maintenance. So I reversed the install and it is all back to normal now.
I hope that information is a bit more helpful.
Thanks for your assistance.

Okay.. I am still not fully clear if this is an install on a vanilla Zen Cart store (NO previous Super Orders installation) or if this is an upgraded 1.3.8 or 1.3.9 store..

Not clear at all.. Which login screen the Zen Cart admin login?? Not sure what you are describing is occurring since you have not provided the exact error message you see.. So I'm left to guess what the error message MIGHT be, and I'm afraid I can't begin to hazard a guess about what's wrong without some more specifics.. Sorry..

If I had to guess I'd say based on the error it looks like you did not install Super Orders correctly. It would appear that you did not upload the install files to the correct folder locations. (namely it looks like you uploaded some of the files from the admin/includes folder to the shop's includes folder) Please double check your install this version of Super Orders really is very much plug-n-play if you follow the installation instructions..

This actually isn't really a "Super Orders" question.. What you are asking is more of a general Zen Cart "how do I do this" kind of question.. Since the the "super" code that makes Super Orders "super" is now integrated into the default orders.php, invoice.php, and packingslip.php files, the answer to your question is the same regardless of whether or not you use Super Orders.. There are posts which discuss how to add the product model number to the order/invoice/packingslip. Those same instructions should also work for product ID.. Suggest doing a search on the forum for these posts..

Re: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5 is ALMOST ready to release!!!
I have the same problem that oldgeezer has. This is a brand new install to zen-cart V1.5. I logged in to the admin before uploading the two folders. I did change the admin folder names to reflect the same admin folder name on my site. After uploading I went to the admin page and clicked on a link, the screen went blank and nothing has happened. I checked the error log and I get the following error
[30-Jun-2012 08:17:46] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare update_status() (previously declared in /home/mardyb1/public_html/sharpchain.com/zen/zc_admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/common_orders_functions.php:101) in /home/mardyb1/public_html/sharpchain.com/zen/zc_admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/super_orders_functions.php on line 54

Re: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5 is ALMOST ready to release!!!
I received this error after installing my Zen sql admin patch section.
1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'TYPE=MyISAM' at line 1
in:
[CREATE TABLE so_payments ( payment_id int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment, orders_id int(11) NOT NULL default '0', payment_number varchar(32) NOT NULL default '', payment_name varchar(40) NOT NULL default '', payment_amount decimal(14,2) NOT NULL default '0.00', payment_type varchar(20) NOT NULL default '', date_posted datetime NOT NULL default '0000-00-00 00:00:00', last_modified datetime NOT NULL default '0000-00-00 00:00:00', purchase_order_id int(11) NOT NULL default '0', PRIMARY KEY (payment_id) ) TYPE=MyISAM ;]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.
I did read through this forum...but heck I don't know how to fix it.
Should I start over?
Thank you.

Re: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5 is ALMOST ready to release!!!
Ok...I am definitely not a programmer:
Now I received this error:
1060 Duplicate column name 'date_completed'
in:
[ALTER TABLE orders ADD date_completed datetime default NULL, ADD date_cancelled datetime default NULL, ADD balance_due decimal(14,2) default NULL;]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.
Oh...DivaVocals...please don't get mad at me...:)
Can you please let me know the fix?
Thank you so much :)

Re: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5 is ALMOST ready to release!!!
Now that I messed up the whole thing trying to install and not really understanding what i am doing...Is there a way to save my files and do a partial reinstall? I can no longer access the admin. Blank screen. I think I merged the wrong files and put wrong ones in the wrong places and who knows what else. Can my customers, their orders, and gift certificates, etc be saved?
Here is what I did (I am usually a bright person but not always as will be evident):
backed up
installed edit orders
check it worked
started installing super orders
kid was interrupting every five
I am over tired
I only barely know what I am doing
trying to hurry so get supper on table so we can leave for karate in 15 minutes
base files. uploaded.
modified core files. merged then uploaded.
oh, wait... ummm. the base files are not the admin files.
I changed and modified all the wrong files.
Meanwhile, orders keep coming to my inbox so the site is up and running but the admin is all messed up. Is there any salvation here?

Re: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5 is ALMOST ready to release!!!
Dairymom, in the short term, your best bet might be to get your hosting company to restore all the files on your site. The orders (and the database) will not be affected by this, and you'll get your admin back.
-
Re: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5 is ALMOST ready to release!!!
That worked!
Next time I will wait until it isn't a store day! What a stressor! Thanks so much.

Re: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5 is ALMOST ready to release!!!
Hello,
first thank you very much for this nice piece of software.
I just installed it and I'm getting and SO internal error when I ask for the details, it says Warning, a error occured reload page. Reloading the page does no get any better. I've been to the Apache error.log and nothing at Apache level.
If I ask to edit details it's OK, I see the details, even if I didn't try to add products.

When you see the error message there should be an error log file in the Zen Cart cache folder.. What does that error log file say??

I posted this several days ago but did not get any response. I wanted to clarify a few things with this install that may help in troubleshooting, if you have any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.
I Installed zen-cart version 1.5 a few months ago, I always create a test store as well before I install any mods or upgrades to my real store. My current store and test store I have installed a couple mods, Ceon credit card app and a search log for logging any search terms that are used. I followed the Super Orders install instructions but when I click on a link in the admin area, I get a white screen and nothing else. When I check the error log, I get the error stated above. Is it possible that one of the two mods already installed is causing this error? I installed a 3rd test site of zen-cart and installed Super Orders without the two mods installed and it works fine. My next step would be to install a 4th test site and install 1 of the mods and then install Super Orders to see if it hangs up again, then repeat with the second mod.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5 is ALMOST ready to release!!!
I had a similar issue upon upgrading. The fix was to simply eliminate the common_orders_functions file. The coding is, basically, repeated in the new SO ver. 4 files elsewhere.

Great ! I didn't know that I could see the log there. Here is the error message :
Code:
PHP Fatal error: 1054:Unknown column 'split_from_order' in 'field list' :: select split_from_order, is_parent from orders where orders_id = '2595' in /catalog/includes/classes/db/mysql/query_factory.php on line 101

You have an incomplete install.. Suggest re-installing.. You don't need to re-upload all the files, but will need to login to the admin, re-upload the 1_Base_Files/YOUR_ADMIN_FOLDER/includes/auto_loaders folder, and then click any link in the admin to re-execute the auto-installer.
Are you by chance upgrading a Super Orders version older than v3.0??

I am just curious by changing the sql will it create any future problems or does this modification just benefit Super Orders...I hope I made myself clear...Thanks again

Yes and no, I'm upgrading from 1.3.7 with SO 3.0 but keeping the previous database upgraded by install scripts.
In fact the error log was right :-), some fields were missing so I reviewed the SO 4 SQL file, removed all that already exists in the MySQL tables and did the remaining SQL request.
No more errors.
Thanks you very much.

Not sure what you mean by "removed all that already exists in the MySQL tables and did the remaining SQL request", but glad it worked out.
If you were indeed missing the "split_from_order" column as stated in the error, then you MUST be upgrading from a version of Super Orders Older than 3.0.. Given that you were upgrading a 1.3.7 store this would have to be the case as Super Orders v3.0 was not backwards compatible (would be UNLIKELY to work on a Zen Cart v1.3.7 store)
-
Re: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5 is ALMOST ready to release!!!
I mean I reviewed all the SQL statements and removed the CREATE or INSERT statements when the column or table already exists.
Then I executed the remainings SQL statements.

DivaVocals, I read through the Super Orders readme file and it says that I may have tracker, USPS and edit orders installed first prior to installing Super Orders...just want to make double sure so I have all working. Arghh..this is my 3rd attempt...
Thank you for your help..:)

Re: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5 is ALMOST ready to release!!!
Ack! I am feeling incompetent. This is my fourth attempt to add Super Orders. This time I was meticulously careful. Here is the message I got:
Quote:
Hello. Thank you for loading Zen CartŪ.
You are seeing this page for one or more reasons:
This is your first time using Zen CartŪ and you haven't yet completed the normal Installation procedure.
If this is the case for you, you will need to upload the "zc_install" folder using your FTP program, and then run zc_install/index.php via your browser (or reload this page to see a link to it).
Your /includes/configure.php and/or /admin/includes/configure.php file contains invalid path information and/or invalid database-connection information.
If you recently edited your configure.php files for any reason, or maybe moved your site to a different folder or different server, then you'll need to review and update all your settings to the correct values for your server.
See the Online FAQ and Tutorials area on the Zen CartŪ website for assistance.
Additional Details: includes/configure.php file empty or file not found, OR wrong DB_TYPE set, OR cannot find includes/autoload_func.php which suggests paths are wrong or files were not uploaded correctly
Now the whole site is down!
What am I doing wrong? There seems to be a fundamental error in what I am doing. Edit Orders went up fine yesterday.
I have ZC1.5, EO4.0, tried to get SO4.0.2final.

Are you referring to Super Orders 3.0 for Zen Cart v1.3.9 or Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5??

Re: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5 is ALMOST ready to release!!!
I have followed all the instructions to install in my zc 1.5 site, upgrading from the 1.3 version of super orders. After I copy all the files, then delete the common_orders_functions.php file because it was causing errors, I then get a sql error when trying to view any link in the admin site:
[11-Jul-2012 02:59:24 UTC] PHP Fatal error: 1366:Incorrect string value: '\x92t hav...' for column 'configuration_description' at row 1 :: INSERT INTO configuration VALUES (NULL, 'PDF Packing Slip - Enable Shipping Label', 'LCSD_SHOW_SHIPPING_LABEL', 'False', 'Determines whether or not a pre-printed shipping label is included in a customer address block on the packing slip so you don\’t have to process a separate label report. If you are using a preprinted packing slips with a peel off label – set this to true.', '32', 90, now(), now(), NULL, 'zen_cfg_select_option(array(''True'', ''False''),') in C:\Websites\Insert Insanity\includes\classes\db\mysql\query_factory.php on line 101
My entire admin site is down now. Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks for the kind comments.. :smile: I think this really is a cleaner version than previous releases, and a lot of good folks made this all possible.. So kudos to all the volunteers who helped.. :clap:There are some BIG improvements in this version (check out the new/improved batch printing!!! I had lots of folks offer to help fix this part, but in the end there was one ANGEL who got this all working as it should!)
The install instructions in the download on my site are down & dirty and I didn't include this tidbit about deleting the common_orders_functions.php.. I think there's a HINT about this file being unnecessary though in the changelog... I'll post a quick note about this on my site.. Hoping to have enough free time tomorrow evening to wrap up editing the readme files and get these all bundled up and submitted (they really are nearly complete.. I'm just kinda anal about this stuff so I want them right)..

Well, it is entirely repeatable here.
Use Batch Status Update for more than one order, and the file super_batch_status.php passes an array to the function zen_scrub_in in common_orders_functions.php which in turn calls the function strcasecmp() which expects a string, not an array. Hence the warning in the cache directory.
I guess it may be fixed in v4 but that's only for ZC1.5.0.

Re: Super Orders v3.0 Support Thread
Hi All,
I've made a new cart with a whole new install of super orders 3.02 as I am using ZC1.3.9h. I will be upgrading to ZC 1.5.0 when my hosting company upgrades the php version on my server. I am still getting the 'No Order Payment Data Available' when I view orders in Super Orders.
Why is this? I know that it should work. From reading through the thread I believe the way it should work is that when you view the order through super orders it should automatically create the payment record in the table 'so_payments'. Is this correct? I am using Paypal express checkout on my cart but should it matter which Paypal module you use?
I just cant seem to get any payment data showing in the super orders form where it should be showing.
Any help would be appreciated where it can be given. Is this something that has been released properly in the latest version for v1.5.0.
Thanks,
Brett

Why is this? I know that it should work. From reading through the thread I believe the way it should work is that when you view the order through super orders it should automatically create the payment record in the table 'so_payments'. Is this correct? I am using Paypal express checkout on my cart but should it matter which Paypal module you use?
I just cant seem to get any payment data showing in the super orders form where it should be showing.
Any help would be appreciated where it can be given. Is this something that has been released properly in the latest version for v1.5.0.
Thanks,
Brett
Broken in v3.02.. Been discussed ad naseum on this support thread.. Fixed in 4.x also discussed ad naseum in this support thread..

Re: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5 is ALMOST ready to release!!!
Sorry folks, but I have been slammed and have had absolutely NO TIME to finish the readme..:blush: I am working on finishing the readme editing, but it is a SLOW process.. So for now if you want Super Orders 4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5, it is available on my site. (link in siggy)
As SOON as I finish the readme (hoping for mid August), I will submit it to the downloads, start a new support thread, and Super Orders will no longer be available for download from my site.
Thanks for your patience..

One caveat that is important.. If you are using Edit Orders or Ty Package Tracker with Super Orders, DO NOT upload/overwrite the Super Orders orders.php files with the orders.php file from these packages. Super Orders orders.php already has the required code for BOTH mods built in and only needs to be activated using an admin setting..

so here's what's gonna happen next..
I will package up Super Orders and try to get it posted on my site sometime this weekend.. If I do this please understand that I will only include down and dirty install instructions. I still need to update the readme before I submit it to the downloads section here.. As soon as this is submitted and made available in the downloads it will NO LONGER be available on my site..
Now with that out the way here's the BEST part of the new Super Orders.. two words ya'll
AUTO INSTALLER!!
No more external SQL files needed to install/upgrade Super Orders.. Yep that's right.. I managed to get an auto-installer WORKING with Super Orders!!! (how cool is THAT???!!!) This means if you are upgrading from a previous Super Orders install or doing a vanilla Super Orders install, the auto installer has got you covered.. Uninstall is not automated (the code to make this work is above my paygrade.. :laugh:) So to uninstall you will still need to use an external SQL file..
That said, and I will also say this in the down and dirty install instructions.. DO NOT RUN THE UNINSTALL SQL when upgrading.. Let me repeat..
DO NOT RUN THE UNINSTALL SQL when upgrading!!!!!!
You will wipe out your payment/refunds/purchase order tables.. (This is IRREVERSIBLE!!)
I will post HERE once I have the installer files up on my site.. As soon as I finish updating the readme, I'll submit to the downloads section..
Happy Friday!!!

Because of the ability to integrate Edit Orders with Super Orders (for those running both add-ons) I wanted to release Edit Orders and Super Orders at the same time. However there are two bugs that have held up both of these releases.
There are volunteers who are working on addressing these bugs. I have no ETA on how soon they will be able to finish the work at this time.. Hoping that it will be soon. That's the best timeframe I can give anyone about the status of this add-on. It will continue to be the answer I give when asked timeframe questions. (sorry folks..:smile:)
For those who want details on the outstanding issues here they are.
Super Orders
Summary: Batch printing invoices/packingslips not page breaking correctly in Internet Explorer, Opera, & Safari
Description: The batch print function of Super Orders is not correctly interpreting the page breaks for invoices, packingslips, and shipping labels. For invoices & packingslips, the page break should happen just above the logo for each page generated. Shipping labels should be printing 4 labels to a page. The page break functionality works correctly in Firefox & Chrome.
Edit Orders
Issue: Status change requires comment to be entered
Description: System will not save status without entering a comment. Changing the order status without entering a comment results in an error message being generated, and the updated order status is not saved to the status update table.
===========================================================
Enhancements the new version will offer..
- DONE Full integration of Super Orders functionality into the into Zen Cart core. Eliminate once and for all the separate Super Orders versions of the core "cousin files". Replace super_orders.php, super_invoice.php, & super_packingslip.php with Super Order enhanced versions of the core files orders.php, invoice.php, & packingslip.php.
- DONE Auto generate Super Orders payment records when orders a paid via PayPal
- DONE Credit Card Auto Payment Generation Tweak:
I decided to update the class file that auto generates Super Orders payments for credit card paid orders based on Blindside's post here:
http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpo...&postcount=207. (just the part of this code which relates to credit payments.. PayPal auto payments are handled differently)
I liked the fact that it no longer hardcodes the credit card codes, and instead relies on the data in the Super Orders payments types table. IF a NEW credit card type is supported by Zen Cart, the only thing Super Orders users need to do is to create a corresponding Super Orders payment type (the Super Orders payment code must match the corresponding credit card as it does now for supported credit cards).. This is loads easier for all I think!!
This will help keep people -- particularly newbies -- "out of the code" just to update the module.. Having to edit module files is often where things go wrong for newbies:smile:.. - Batch Form Printing. When shopowners print multiple invoices they are presented with a new window with all the selected invoices in separate frames. Printing frames is only supported by IE and Firefox (the 2 most commonly used browsers when SO was initially released). This code still works, but is showing signs of it's age. (the 80s called.. :laugh:) Frame printing is not supported in Chrome, Safari, or Opera. Therefore, this function is to be modified so that batch invoices no longer render in frames and the selected invoice prints on its own page. Align batch invoices and packingslips so that they look/act like the single printed versions.
- DONE Fixed super_report_await_pay.php - missing a "<?php" (see: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpo...&postcount=275)
- DONE This "fix" should be addressed in the readme as part of the user manual and therefore will not be included in the release. http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpo...&postcount=279
- DONE Fixed super_data_sheet.php lines around lines 225 where Ty Package Tracker is included. Caused errors for those not running Ty Package Tracker. (see: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpo...6&postcount=55)
- DONE Correct PDF packing slip to interpret and output currency and other symbols correctly. (trademarks, currency symbols, copyright, etc)
- DONE Eliminate the need for the common_orders_functions.php file. Edit Orders and Super Orders should have their own functions files.
- DONE Comments in Batch Status Update should work the same way default order comments work. (support for e-mail, no e-mail, or hidden comments) . If working properly should allow shop owner to create batch hidden order comments.
- DONE PDF Packing Slip now prints comments the same way comments print on the regular invoice.
- DONE Correct balance due display on PDF packing slip

No clue since Super Orders would not remove or delete existing payment modules. Your first screenprint is what I would expect to see AFTER installing Super Orders.. (I can see the purchase order payment module which comes with Super Orders is installed) Something else you've done has removed your payment modules..

I know that its won't overwrite any payment modules, But regarding the purchase order module I just saved the file in payment modules to test whether that file causing the prob on my installation

I don't see how it could.. It's just a payment module.. Nothing special about it.. It's a clone based on the check money order module.
In the long history of this add-on (going back to the original version) NO ONE has ever reported an issue like you are reporting. I cannot reproduce it in all the MANY Super Order installs I have done, and no one else has either otherwise this would have been reported by someone else.. This leads me to believe that this issue is being caused by something else going on in your store. I don't know what that could be, but I am certain it's not related to Super Orders.

Re: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5 is ALMOST ready to release!!!
it start working when I commented out the following function in super_orders_functions.php
PHP Code:
/*function update_status($oID, $new_status, $notified = 0, $comments = '') {
global $db;
if($notified== -1){
$cust_notified = -1;
}
elseif ($notified==1)
$cust_notified = 1;
else
$cust_notified = 0;
$db->Execute("INSERT INTO " . TABLE_ORDERS_STATUS_HISTORY . "
(orders_id, orders_status_id, date_added, customer_notified, comments)
VALUES ('" . (int)$oID . "',
'" . $new_status . "',
now(),
'" . $cust_notified . "',
'" . $comments . "')");
$db->Execute("UPDATE " . TABLE_ORDERS . " SET
orders_status = '" . $new_status . "', last_modified = now()
WHERE orders_id = '" . (int)$oID . "'");
} */
is there an bug/duplication of function

Re: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5 is ALMOST ready to release!!!
Again it is UNLIKELY this is the cause of the issue you are having. I also doubt very seriously this would cause an issue for anyone else either otherwise others would have reported the SAME issue you are reporting (to date NO ONE has ever reported this same issue).. Your issue is unique to your install, and you are gonna need to provide more information about your install (other modules installed, is this a new install or upgrade from previous version, SQL version, PHP version etc).. Without being able to repeat the issue or having more information about your install, it's tough to say with any certainty what you issue is..

You have a LOT of add-ons installed and any one of them (the payment modules are likely culprits) could be the cause of your unique issue.. Why not try doing a clean 1.5 install and then install Super Orders. Test things, then install each add on one at a time to see which one is bumping heads with Super Orders..

Re: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5 is ALMOST ready to release!!!
Hello,
I am running znecart 1.3.9h and the super orders 3.0. The latest.
When I click the usps auto fill button everything works, but it also is checking the box to add insurance on the usps site, is there a way to have the box un-checked? I have read through the posts and I do not see it discussed. please help.
thanks.

You need to post questions for USPS Auto-fill on the support thread for that particular add-on..

OK, an update, issue No.1 is to do with my LOCAL version pf PHP so I will ignore this bug file output.
issue No.2 I've tied it down to the Super_orders.php file in the FEC folder lines 1131 and 1239 the comments are not being commented out for some reasons. Anyone spot anything obvious please?

Re: Super Orders v3.0 Support Thread
This is all the FEC code.. You might get better answers posting this on the FEC support thread.. Honestly I don't have any idea what the answer is The FEC files were added to help Super Order users, but support for FEC should be directed to the FEC support thread.. Also these merged files are from an older version of FEC to boot..

Re: Super Orders v3.0 Support Thread
Thank you for your time, I shall delve a little deeper. The latest release of FEC no longer contains super order files, their readme states to use the files that come with SO3 so does that mean that neither developer will be updating those particular files to keep up with their respective modules. Oh and before anyone jumps on me...I would if I had the knowledge, but I don't :dontgetit

Honestly I do not know what the FEC developer plans to do as far as providing help with implementing his add-on with Super Orders... as I stated, we included the FEC and COWOA files as a courtesy to Super Order users, but there was never any real intent to support FEC or COWOA beyond providing these file... Super Orders v4 no longer includes the FEC or COWOA files at all.. The reason is very simple, I realized after submitting Super Orders v3 that by including these files it unnecessarily burdened me to keep up with FEC and COWOA changes.. That's more work than I am willing to do on an unpaid volunteer basis (sorry..)

Don't be sorry at all, its not your job to hold everyones hand.
Anyway good news, all sorted. The php tags were in the wrong place on the lines in question :cool:

Diva,
I just wanted to let you know that I installed V4 and Edit Orders on a lightly modified 1.5 site this morning and it couldn't have been any easier. Great work!

Re: Super Orders v3.0 Support Thread
Hi Diva,
My client called with a problem. She's using the batch form print and it's not splitting the invoices to a separate page when printing. The interesting thing is that I couldn't recreate the problem. It turns out this is related to Internet Explorer. For some reason it's not handling the page-break-before: always correctly. What's even odder is that it does break some pages correctly. She was trying to print invoices for all pending orders. She selected them all and hit print. It split the first two pages, printed two invoices on the next page, the next invoice spanned two pages and it split it correctly, and so on. I did some searching and didn't find a lot of useful info. I tried changing from and inline style to one defined in the stylesheet. Nothing changed. Ever run into this?

Nope, and without being able to replicate this it will be tough to troubleshoot.. What version of IE is she using BTW??
-
Re: Super Orders v3.0 Support Thread
She thinks she's running 7 but I can recreate it on my desktop running 9. Very weird. If I look it it with developers tools in IE or Firebug the html is correct and the css is right (inline or stylesheet). It just ignores the page break sometimes. I can't see anything that is different from one invoice to the other besides the size of the page.

You initially said you couldn't re-create the issue, but now you can??? What did you change??? And your client needs to provide more specifics on her IE version because I can't re-create this issue at all.. so a version compatibility issue can't be fully ruled out.. (especially if she's running a version of IE that's a version or two behind..)
-
Re: Super Orders v3.0 Support Thread
Sorry for the confusion Diva. I couldn't recreate the problem initially because I was using Firefox. It wasn't until I dug further that I discovered it only happened in IE and I was able to recreate it myself. It works perfectly in Firefox and Chrome.

Re: Super Orders v3.0 Support Thread
I just uncovered what may be a bug in V4. If an admin profile is created with access to batch form print and a user is assigned to that profile, when you try and do a batch print you get the following error message:
Sorry, your security clearance does not allow you to access this resource.
Please contact your site administrator if you believe this to be incorrect.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
Printing individual invoices from the orders menu works fine. I don't know if this impacts batch status also.

Re: Super Orders v3.0 Support Thread
Diva,
In case you don't see the post I made in the template section. Here's my solution to the page-break problem. I removed the styling on the span tag (removed the style="display: none;") and it now works in all browsers. I'm not sure why that breaks the page break but you might want to make a change to the mod.

don't read this whole forum regularly so I would not have seen your other post.. I'll take a look at and test your solution.. I still need to re-test to see if I can replicate your result first..

Re: Super Orders v3.0 Support Thread
Hi,
Concerning the PayPal Express payments not showing up in the Super Order v3.0.2 details for ZC1.3.9h users, it looks like this issue has been addressed in SO v4 for zc 1.5 and development is moving in a forward direction, and rightfully so.
But still, at the same time, I think there's a lot of us stuck on 1.3.9h for the foreseeable future due to many reasons. Like for me, my site is quite customized so I would have no choice with upgrading to 1.5 until all the addon modules that I depend on have been updated for 1.5 support. So I looked into SO v3 and came up with a solution to the PayPal problem.
Linked are the files that have been modified to include the necessary code to include PayPal payment information in the Super Order customer order details.
http://www.robophung.net/zencart/sup...xpress_fix.zip
There are changes to exactly 3 files...
/includes/classes/super_order.php
/YOUR ADMIN FOLDER/classes/super_order.php
and...
/includes/classes/order.php
Now concerning the /includes/classes/order.php...this is a originally a CORE EDIT file in the original Super Orders v3 mod, so you have to take good precaution and make sure to MERGE the change in code rather than just overwriting your existing order.php file, unless you are absolutely sure that you don't use any other modules that have altered this file in the past.
I haven't tested too extensively, but everything seems to work great, and I think it's good to go because the PayPal records injected into the SO_PAYMENTS table in the zen-cart database are done so correctly in the few dummy orders that I tested.
Let me know if you guys have any questions, hope this helps!

Re: Super Orders v3.0 Support Thread
I wsa woundering if anyone knows if tax cloud will work with Super Orders? I have tax Cloud installed and Super Orders. If I enable Fast and Easy Checkout, the area where the tax should be in blank [no tax word] only : $0.00. If I disable super orders tax is then shown, but the check out is longer. Any ideas?

Re: Super Orders v3.0 Support Thread
Finally got Edit orders/Super Orders installed (and TY Tracking updated to the latest) this weekend.
Just wanted to say thanks to DV and others for the work that was obviously required to bring (essentially) 3 different modules up to 1.5 and the 'auto' installation was smooth and painless for EO and SO.
Based on the amount of edits/merges, I can only imagine what it took.

Re: Super Orders v3.0 Support Thread
hi divavocals
i tried registering at your site to download SO v4 but so far an email with password has not been sent
using ff 15.0.1
-
Re: Super Orders v3.0 Support Thread
Same thing happened to me.
I was able to use the 'Lost Password' link, then it sent the new password, then a while later, the original email came through (with the older password).
-
Re: Super Orders v3.0 Support Thread
Wow, this add-on looks absolutely amazing!
Just a quick question: is it compatible with v1.50? If not, are here any other similar add-ons for v1.50?
Many thanks!
-
Re: Super Orders v3.0 Support Thread
v 4 ( On Diva's site) is 1.5 compatible.

Update: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5
God willing and the creek don't rise I aim to get Super Orders v4.0 officially submitted to the Zen Cart downloads section this weekend.. SOOOOOOO sorry for the delay in doing this, but I only have so many hours in the day and a LOT on my plate.. :smile:
It will remain available on my site until the admins approve it.. (see the link in my siggy)

Re: Update: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5
What am I doing wrong?
Just did a fresh install and Super Order is NOT showing up under : Admin > Configuration > ?
Super Orders is showing up under: Admin > Customers > Super Orders
WTF? Anybody have any advice?
-
Re: Update: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5
I just installed Super Orders to my cart, I have a new cart set up, the latest version of Zen.
NOTHING is showing up in the Admin, nothing in the configuration and nothing in the customers (same as previous poster)
I double checked all install files, and they are located in the correct place in my store, correct name of the admin folder, etc.
Need help!!
-
Re: Update: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5
An update:
nothing shows up in the Admin, and I am logged in as a SuperUser, so it should show up.
However, if I add /super_orders.php to the address bar, behind my admin folder, it will take me to the super order main screen. I just can't access it via the customer drop down, or any other way in the admin.
Also, if I go into the admin profiles to add it to another profile, there are no options for super orders to select to add to those admins menu options.
-
Re: Update: Super Orders v4.0 for Zen Cart v1.5
So, i realize my error, have to download from the correct site for now! I'll get that done tomorrow, and redo the installation.
