Linked product

Hi

Is it ok to delete a linked product from its master category?
I tried it with 1 product, and it still showed on the website.

Will it have any bad long term effects?

All Products need a master_categories_id ...

If you want to delete the Product from its Master Category, then assign a New Master Category to it and you can then delete it from the Old Master Category ...

So if I delete a product from its master category without assigning the product to to a new master category (because it's linked) - something will go wrong?

It won't work very well on a lot of things ...

If you go to the Product and hit C for Copy you will see the link for:
Multiple Categories Link Manager

Click on that and set the Master Category ID for the Product and you can uncheck the Category(ies) that you do do or do not want the Product Linked to and hit Update ...
