Getting 404 after installing Ultimate SEO

Hey Hi there , M new to this forum...since 1 week m also getting 404 page not found error after installing the ultimate seo urls contribution zencart v1.5. I m trying to fix it since a week but my all the pages of the site getting 404 error m totally horrified from this error plz help me as soon as possible ...Thank you in advance..!!!

I just had 404 errors on everyone of my pages other than the homepage. I fixed it by changing the:

RewriteEngine On

to

RewriteEngine on

The Capital O messed up my site. Also the /shop/ is just a / for me because my website is in the root directory. Hope this will help you.

You said you are using Zen Cart 1.5? Is this correct? Version 1.5.0? 1.5.1?
What version of "Ultimate SEO URLs" are you trying to use?
Have you read the Ultimate SEO URLs support thread for Zen Cart 1.5?
Can you give us a link to the website (so we can see what is happening)?
Can you provide the settings you are using (found under "Admin" -> "Configuration" -> "SEO URLs")?
Can you provide a copy of the .htaccess file you are using?
Can you post your answers to these questions along with any other potentially relevant information over in the Ultimate SEO URLs support thread for Zen Cart 1.5?

I got the solution...actually in contribution there is one htaccess_sample file ....so i just uploaded that file by renaming as htaccess and i forget to put (.) dot before this ... so after that i tried using .htaccess just renamed again and it worked for my site... Thanks for the replies by the way......!!!!
