NOT ONCE did I suggest you modify this module to include any additional functionality (in case this is what you walked away from my previous posts with it was NOT what I was suggesting)

It sounded to me like he did not want to have to submit TWO XML sitemaps to the search engines (one for the blog and another for the store).

It sounds that he did not know how to do properly, did not know that you can add a few sitemaps.
