Looking for support or documentation on the 301 Auto Redirect feature. I've changed the names of certain products which changed the URLs so I'm loosing them on Google. The old URL now shows a "product not found" message. ... I tried creating my own 301 redirect but it appears this plugin overrides them and continues to show "product not found".

As you have not specified what version of Zen Cart nor what version of Ultimate SEO URLs you have installed... Based upon your question, I would guess you are running an old version of USU (or USU is not correctly / fully installed). If this is the case you will need to upgrade to the latest version of USU to enable incoming URL redirection when a product name has changed. Old versions only supported redirecting Zen Cart dynamic URLs.

How does the 301 Auto Redirect feature work?

The latest version of USU includes a number of fixes, patches, and new features. This includes many additional safety checks and performance enhancements. In the latest version, automatic 301 redirects are generated when:

• Ultimate SEO URLs is enabled.
• Redirects are enabled.
• The URL corresponds to a page included in the list of pages to rewrite.
• The request was not made by a page in the Zen Cart admin.
• The request does not include any POST data.
• The request URI does not match the generated URI.
• The request QUERY data does not match the generated QUERY data.
