Your case is actually explained in the documentation and was not caused by ZX Slideshow... You're not loading libraries the proper way so there are jQuery conflicts (readme file, common issues, text in red ).

I can't say for sure because I don't have access to your code, but my guess is that you have a line in includes/templates/theme697/common/html_header.php that is loading jquery.js file. The simplest solution would be to simply delete jquery.js file, but that would cause an error in the requests so you really need to find the line which is including the jquery.js and remove that line. You should be fine after you do that. You will also get other jQuery scripts to work (for example, lightbox and tooltips) when you fix this.

I thought that may be an issue so I delted them and it still happens. The two files belong to an autocomplete search add on http://www.advancebydesign.com/softw...-complete.html even with them deleted the issue still occurs. I would be happy to pm you any files you would want to take a look at

Check your source code and notice line 74 - it's still loading the jquery.js file...

Ah, OK, just checked that autocomplete script...

Open includes/templates/theme697/jscript/jscript_jscac.php and remove

<script type="text/javascript" src="<?php echo $acws; ?>jscript/jquery.js"></script>

from line 84
That should do it.

I must have tried that while something was broken. You hit the nail on the head. The scrips load in alphabetical order, if I change those to load after, would that work?

Just remove that one line. That autocomplete script probably presumes you're not loading jQuery at all so it loads it for itself. But, since you're loading jQuery much earlier with standard Zen Cart functions, you don't need to load it again. Don't make any other changes, just remove that one line.

I've renamed and uploaded and ran the sql and ZX SLideshow doesn't show in the menu? I'm sure I've missed something but can't figure out why? My website is www.LJandEB.com
