    I am having a similar issue. Everything was working great after testing last night and then this morning I could not go from Step 1 to step 3 in the cart. I have my shipping info set and all of that is OK but the button is looping back to checkout_shipping instead of checkout_payment! Rest is working fine when I make the url go to checkout_payment.

    Help, please - I have not been able to figure this out in any of the code although I can identify where the files are located.

    My cart is therefore broken for the client and she is going to have my head in another minute.

    Hi roseleaf,
    Yes I am in the same boat. I am already three weeks over due on delivery but don't want to put the cart up until it works. Credibility is taking a beating... this is my first Zen Cart project ....it could well be my last if I don't deliver shortly. So if you are reading this and have even the slightest idea of what could be wrong there are two for sure who would be grateful for some assistance so please post a reply.

    I have tried replacing files hoping that some had been corrupted but that did not work either. I have completely rebuilt the Cart twice now after a problem uploading from a local server to the internet. The cart is sitting on the net now waiting to go live but with no links to it.

    I'd be inclined to say there is an error in your template ...

    However, you used the Classic template so it is really hard to test if you broke the template or a default file ...

    I do have a set of 'clean' zencart files. Any suggestion as to what files I should replace and then start over with? Or should I, at this point, do a clean install - which I would prefer not doing?

    Thanks for any advice!

    PS My config files looks good - I did find your info in another post about making sure that was all pointed in the right direction.

    I am not sure what is actually broken ... but I know I can manually get to checkout_payment ... so this tells me that it is not being redirected back to checkout_shipping based on an error ... but rather it is not able to move on to the right file so it makes me think it is a template issue on either the /classic files or the /template_default files that may have been touched and should not have ...

    You might try upgrading to v1.3.6 as this may very well fix the issues ...

    However ... be sure to backup your site as your /classic custom files will be overwritten as you are not using your own templates and overrides ...

    One thing you could try is grab a template from the downloads and install it ...

    Switch to that template and see if everything suddenly works ... if so, then you know it is in the /classic templates and override directories ...

    If not, then I would use something like Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com and compare a clean Zen Cart to your files and see what is damaged or missing or changed that might be causing this issue ...

    Well, I downloaded and installed a new template and the issue is still there - we are just not making the jump to checkout_payment.

    I'll keep trying to figure it out. Any more suggestions?

    When attempting to create an account I get the following error:

    It is sounding more like you have multiple corrput or missing files. May I suggest a complete upgrade before you proceed any further.

    That's what I am doing right now. I downloaded the newest upgrade and am just going to start from scratch.

    It is interesting that yesterday I was having some weird things happening such as some settings reverting to default after they had been set and checked. For some reason my files may have been getting corrupt when being pushed to the server.

    Only the shadow knows....

    I have just got in so have missed the action until now. Thank you for the help. I think I will head down the upgrade path and see if this will fix the issue.
